Greek Organization
Active member of Alpha Chi Omega
Being Greek
Being in a sorority has provided me with
opportunities that would have never come my
way otherwise.
As an organization filled with a group of
women, my sorority has provided an environment
that enriches the lives of all members through
lifetime opportunities for
friendship, leadership, learning, and service.
Philanthropy
Philanthropy is the most rewarding aspect of
Greek life

Alpha Chi Omega strives to spread awareness of
domestic violence
We support local non-profit organizations that
provide assistance and support to women in
domestic violence situations.
Between Friends
Alpha Chi Omega from Loyola University, has
partnered with Between Friends, a Chicago nonprofit organization located in Loyola’s community
of Rogers Park
Between Friends helps victims and children to
recognize that their experience is shared and
that the problem of domestic violence is social
and political
Events
Every year, our sorority hosts numerous
philanthropy events in order to raise money and
awareness.
I have been involved with all of our philanthropy
events whether it was selling bracelets or crush
cans to helping out at our “Nacho Night” to being
a part of the Light Ceremony.
Our sorority encourages to give service not only
through our own philanthropy, but to the
community as well.
Leadership Positions
There are numerous amount of ways to get involved
within the sorority, from taking on E-board to
chair positions.
I have been elected as our sorority’s social chair.
Through this way, I am able to create an
organized system for budgeting purposes, take
initiative in planning events, being persistent in
contacting people, and managing my time in
order to create well-planned events.
