   Referential Communication Abilities of
    Learning Disabled Children
   Immediate Impressions of LD Children by
    Female Adults
   Social Interactions of Learning Disabled
    Children: A Linguistic, Social, and Cognitive
    Analysis
   Conclusion
   In this research study, spoken
    language has been linked to learning
    disabilities students. This study was
    focused on communication ability
    comparing LD and non-LD students.
   The research that was found was that
    communication was developed early in a
    childhood. LD student had a lack of
    communication skills, which affected the
    ability to use descriptive information
    about objects. This study is proof that
    language communication has a great part
    in LD students.

   I agree with this article. I think
    communication is the main key to learning.
    I feel that it is great that LD students are
    taking out of class to get more attention and
    social time. I love how the teachers can be
    one on one. When comparing LD students
    and non LD students you can see the
    difference in some students when it comes
    to socializing.

   This research study was about immediate
    impressions of LD children by female
    adults. The study was based on how
    verbal or nonverbal the LD children’s
    behaviors were.
   The study ended stating that LD
    children with nonverbal behaviors
    need more attention, which affects
    the impressions by others.

   I think this is common sense to me. Ones
    that have a nonverbal behavior needs
    more attention. My brother always been
    verbal therefore they had small amount
    of attention needed. Sometime when LD
    children don’t have social skills it is
    harder to learn in my opinion.

    children’s social
    interactions
    raised many
    questions. The
    questioning was
    about how to
    define a learning
    disability.
    Should it only be based on
     intelligence and academic problems?
     The study observed language ability
     in the LD children. It resulted by
     saying language ability effects social
     situations in interpersonal
     communications.

   Learning ability has a lot to do with
    communication if you ask me. If a
    child has the skills to ask for help
    and know what they need help on it
    is more simple to help the LD child.

   I have two brothers that have learning
    disabilities. So this topic really hits home.
    I believe that if LD children are taught
    how to communicate and socialize more
    it will help their learning skills. I really
    loved all these articles because it raised
    many questions to me that could help me
    in my future.

  • 3. In this research study, spoken language has been linked to learning disabilities students. This study was focused on communication ability comparing LD and non-LD students.
  • 4. The research that was found was that communication was developed early in a childhood. LD student had a lack of communication skills, which affected the ability to use descriptive information about objects.   • 5. I agree with this article. I think communication is the main key to learning. I feel that it is great that LD students are taking out of class to get more attention and social time. I believe that if LD children are taught how to communicate and socialize more it will help their learning skills. I really loved all these articles because it raised many questions to me that could help me in my future.
