02/05: Build a box program: Partnered with local VFW and Boy Scouts to fill 100 boxes with
essential items for soldiers without families. Our store provided items such as socks, toothpaste,
eye drops and a multitude of snacks. Each of the kids created valentine cards and stuffed in each
box that was shipped.
12/05: Drugstore Project: Partnered with the Oakland Police Dept., The D.E.A. and the Bureau of
Narcotic Enforcement to create an event that brought drug/gang awareness to the elementary and
middle school children around the bay area.
02/07-2015: Homeless Vet Program: Partnered and Supported Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in
their monthly program to feed those in need.
03/07-2013: Street Teens: Volunteered/Supported shelter with food and supplies that provided a
safe place for teenagers/children that were living on the streets of Vegas.
06/08-2015: City of North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation: Supported and volunteered staff to
assist with yearly projects to bring the community out. Etc. Movie night in the park, 4th
of July
Celebration and The Breast Cancer Firetruck. Events were used to support community awareness
and unity.
2008-2010 Shadetree: Program and shelter for abused Women and Children: Supported and
sponsored clothing and supplies needed for children to go back to school.
05/13: Urban Garden ,City Center: Sponsored and Volunteered to build an urban vegetable garden
in a vacant lot on the property. Children were able to come after school to play or work on the
site. This program also assisted the senior housing area a project to assist in daily.
05/14: Southern Nevada Immunization Coalition: Sponsored and hosted Back to School Event that
provided free immunization for children in need. Other services were available: hair cuts, free
sports physicals, dental and vision screening.
2007-2015 Nevada Youth Alliance and Gang Task Force: Supplied and Volunteered 3000 back
packs at the annual Back to School health Fair. Numerous volunteers participated to assist in
packing up supplies and handing them out .
2012: Habitat for Humanity: Partnered with Wells Fargo to aid in the remodel of a disabled
Veterans home that was in need. Collaboration between several Walmart Managers and associates.
2013-2015 Horses for Hereo’s: Program function was to assist soldiers and their families deal with
deployment stress and ptsd for returning soldiers. Provided volunteers for clean up projects and to
assit with veterans in need.
