There are several techniques that we are leaving around today including: Artificial Intelligence( A.I),Block chain and Metaverse technologies. These technologies are crucial to our lifes in making life more easier.
1. LATEST TECHNOLOGIES THAT ARE
SHAPING THE WORLD ARROUND US
TODAY
There several significant advancement in various
technological domains, with blockchain, the
metaverse and artificial intelligence(A.I) taking
center stage. These technologies have the
potential to transform industries and reshape our
digital landscape in profound ways. Lets delve
deeper into each of these areas.
2. METAVERSETECHNOLOGY
Metaverse refers to the convergence of physical and virtual
accessed through computers and enabled by immersive
technologies.
HOW DOERS THE METAVERSE WORK
The metaverse remains a domain to niche applications, used
by customers for entertainment and gaming but shopping well
short of an all encompassing virtual reality.
The metaverse is controlled by large competing ecosystems-
for example, Apple, and Android meta worlds –with limited
interoperability.
The metaverse is a dynamic, open and interoperable space,
much like the internet but 3D.
3. METAVERSE CHALLENGES
No matter what form the metaverse takes, cybersecurity
challenges and privacy challenges 100m as major
concerns. The current lack of privacy regulations for the
metaverse presents many risks for business and users,
including the following:
Misapplication of current privacy regulations ,such as
GDPR.
Intrusive and extensive data collection.
Issues concerning data rights and ownership.
Exploitation of minors.
users-to-user privacy.
4. BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
BLOCKCHAIN is a decentralized, distributed digital ledger
that securely stores and manages transactions.
IMPORTANCES OF BLOCKCHAINS TECHNOLOGY
Here are some of blockchain importance's on BANKING:
Blockchain enables banks to process transactions in 10
seconds which would take 2 days previously and settlement
of efficiency assets transactions.
It also enables transactions to be processed 247.
It allows fully automated transactional process-from
payment to settlement and removes any delays in
documentation caused by duplication.
Making ,all publicity available ledger eliminates the
disorder and complexity associated with multiple ledgers.
5. TYPES OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHONOLOGIES
PUBLIC BLOCKCHAIN: The public is non-
strictive, permission less and open to all of the users.
Anybody who has access can join in blockchain
platform, because an authorized node, access all records
and verify transaction. Basically public blockchain is
used for mining and exchanging cryptocurrencies.
Example: Bitcoin, Ethereum , Litecoin.
PRIVATE BLOCKCHAIN: A private blockchain can
be defined as a permission blockchain that works in a
rest rive environment, i .e a closed network . Private
blockchain are usually used within an organization
where only selected members have access to a
blockchain network. Private blockchains are used for
voting supply chain management, digital identity, assets
ownership, e. t. c. Examples, fabric, sawtooth corda, e.
t. c.
6. CONT.
COSORTIUM BLOCKCHAIN: Here, a single group of the
users can be allowed to view, verify or add the blockchain. The
main difference between private blockchain and consortium is
that consortium blockchains are governed by a group rather than
a single entity. More than one organization can act as node in this
type of blockchain and exchange information or do mining.
Consortium blockchain are typically used by banks government
organization etc. Examples: Marco polo, Energy Web
Foundation, IBM Food Trust.
HYBRIDBLOCKCHAIN: A hybrid block chain is a mixture of
the private and public blockchain . This means that it combines
the privacy benefits of a private blockchain with the security and
transparency benefits of public blockchain. With such a hybrid
network, users can control who gets access to which data stored
in the blockchain. A transaction in private network of a hybrid is
usually verified. Only a selected section of data or records from
the blockchain can be allowed to go public keeping the rest as
confidential in the private network. Example of a hybrid
blockchain is Dragonchain.
7. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I)
Artificial intelligence (A.I), sometimes called
MACHINE INTELLIGENGE, is intelligence
demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the
NATURAL INTELLIGENCE displayed by
humans and other animals, such as “learning”
and problem solving.
In computer science A.I research defined as
the study of “inteligent agent” : any device
that perceives its environment and takes
actions that maximize its chance of
successfully achieving its goals.
8. HOW ARE HUMANS INTELIGENT
Learning
Reasoning
Problem solving and creativity
Social behavior
Experiencing our environment with our senses; Hearing, Sight,
Taste and Smelling.
WAYS THAT PEOPLE THINK AND LEARN ABOUT
THINGS
If you have a problem, think of a past situation where you
solved a similar problem.
If you take an action, anticipate what might happen next.
If you fail at something, imagine how you might have done
things differently.
If you observe an event, try to infer what prior event might
9. CONT.
CONCERNS ABOUT A.I TAKING OVER THE
WORLD
The computer that wins at games of Chess or Go, is
analyzing data for patterns. It has no idea its playing Go
as opposed to golf, or what would happen if more than
half of a Go board was pushed beyond the edge of table.
When you ask Amazon’s Alexa to reserve you a table at
a restaurant you name ,its voice recognition system,
made very accurate by machine learning, saves you the
time of entering a request in open Tables reservation
system.
10. CONCLUSION
The rapid advancement in blockchain, the
metaverse, and AI have positioned these
technologies at the forefront of innovation. While
challenges and uncertainties remain, their potential
to revolutionize industries and shape the future is
undeniable. As these technologies continue to
develop and converge, they will undoubtedly have
a profound impact on various aspects of our live.
