Development and support within the Hospital Rule-Based Systems (HRBS), a rule based
database processing environment. The HRBS environment includes multiple data repositories
(databases), rules engines, user interfaces, workflow automation components, and many
tools for analytics and report processing. The user interfaces are mostly web-based
applications plus one desktop SSIS/ASP application (RIS - Respiratory Information System).
In addition to the classic ASP VBScript code within RIS, the other interfaces include software

 Support and enhance existing C++ application designed to retrieve system usage
information from proprietary mainframe via TCP/IP and store it in a Microsoft Access
database. Design, code (in Visual Studio) and test new features for the application,

 Create, enhance, and support a specialized version of the open source Webmin web-
based application for system (Linux) administration. Webmin is a Perl/CGI application
