This presentation is about innovation and its phenomenology with respect to Social Software. I will present that at http://www.e-weekvic.cat/2006/index.php Setmana digital a Vic.
The hi:project: empowering you, empowering us, with a more human webThe hi:project
We pioneer the human interface, the successor to the user interface. We celebrate the human not the user, the individual not the worker, the person not the consumer, helping everyone contribute more value to and derive more value from society and the organizations in their lives.
Italian Politics and Society - The politician as a corporation, as a startup ...Giorgio Marandola
Italian Politics and Society, a course of the University of Pavia designed principally for foreign students, but it is also open to Italian students.
I analyzed the digital side of an electoral campaign describing a politician as a corporation or a startup.
Lecture by Giorgio Marandola with prof. Marco Camisani Calzolari.

A webinar I hosted on Thursday 26th October talking about the future of social media and dark data. As more customers switch to private messaging apps, brands are no longer in control.
This creates all kinds of ethical and moral challenges, not to mention the creative ones. Essentially, brands now need to provide more value than they capture. They need to give something useful BEFORE they ask for your personal details.
(85% of B2C consumer conversations in some areas are now on private messaging apps and not visible on public social networks)_.
B2B Social Media White Paper - ROI Tips from Microsoft AdvertisingMicrosoft Advertising
Join our community: http://community.microsoftadvertising.com
The Microsoft Advertising Community team has been engaging with our customers online through social media marketing for nearly five years.
Ever since Microsoft adCenter was launched into beta back in 2005, the team has been supporting advertisers all over the world through the Microsoft Advertising Community site by blogging, answering questions in our forums, and disseminating news, tips, tricks and best practices more recently on Twitter @adCenter and @MSAdvertising, and through our Facebook page.
With so many digital marketers using social networks and online applications to gather information, it made a lot of sense for us to invest in providing the very best insight into our products and services via the web.
A driving force at many industry events, the team also spends many hours every year at conferences, bringing sessions alive through social media for our fans and followers who may not have been able to attend.
Increasingly being asked to tell our story and talk of our experiences, our team has written a white paper to share our thoughts. In it, we map our journey over the years, demonstrating the thought processes behind our evolution and some practicable ideas of how to get the very best from social media marketing and your businesses presence on the web.
Social Media: an Obligation, an Opportunity, or a ThreatNinetyTen
Is online social media really a threat, or a great opportunity.
This presentation aims to:
1) Discuss the social media landscape as it stands with reference to public networks and common conceptions
2) Show how a social network resonates as a model for associations and their goals
3) Look at how private and public social networks can become a threat to an association, with examples
4) Cover using a private social network for an association and how to get the best from it
5) Show how to use the best of both (private & public social networks)
Case studies from outside of the membership sector will include:
- Channel 4
- Nokia
Not sure exactly the year this was created - 2000 or 2001 - it was an internal Agency presentation explaining what we did in the interactive division.
Favorite bits are the stuff on interactive brand and digital customer.
For several years we are witnessing a revolution in the field of communication through the dissemination of new media such as social networks, blogs, community (which is often referred to as Web 2.0). These instruments have completely revolutionized the way we communicate, transforming us from mere consumer of information to real content producers.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

I‘d like to take the chance to elaborate on my vision of social software and the web in the next 15 minutes. Only a month ago we held the 3rd edition of BlogTalk http://blogtalk.net - one of the first international academio-pragamtic conferences on the emergnig issue of social software. So I think we are at the beginning of a new global and networked aera that will blur the boundaries of the real and the virtual. I don‘t think that we are at the beginning of a more democratic aera though.
