hosted its 10th Strong, Smart & Bold Awards luncheon. This event recognized the achievements
of Atlanta’s women and girls who embody the Girls Inc. mission of inspiring girls to be strong
(healthy), smart (educated) and bold (independent). Nominees are women who are role models
for girls today as they work toward becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
The Strong, Smart & Bold Awards luncheon is an important annual fundraiser for Girls Inc. of
Greater Atlanta. Donations and sponsorships for the event are used to fund the programs
implemented by Girls Inc throughout the year. These programs include after-school academic
support, University summer camps and many more educational activities.
