Non Governmental
Organisation
We Want Change is an organisation of young and enthusiastic individuals with a common
aim, and that aim is, to be a part of the much-needed change, something which is not new to
the Indian society and culture. We target only and only about the transformation. Our main
ideology is that the present system of our country is fine because we think that any system or
function, no matter how good or bad it is, it only needs to be re-evaluated and updated to fit
the need of the present generation. Our beloved Mother Land, India, that we all are so proud,
needs some reformation to attain its much-needed place in the World. Being the largest
democratic, social, republic in the world is not an easy task and the structural integrity of our
nation has been challenged from time immemorial. It has stood strong against the tide of
time. As the young and secular generation of the country it is our responsibility to take it
further from here. Hence, We Want Change is a Kaarwa of youth ideologies.

Messages from Directors
No fundamental social change occurs merely because government acts.
It's because civil society, the conscience of a country, begins to rise up
and demand - demand - demand change.
Shubhashish Biswas
Director
We Want Change
The ultimate end of all revolutionary social change is to establish the
sanctity of human life, the dignity of man, the right of every human being
to liberty and well-being.
Naman Goyal
Director
We Want Change
Countries are not like financial markets. Social change cannot be
executed as swiftly as credit-default swaps. You cannot sell short on
social commitments and practical responsibilities.
Shubham Gupta
Director
We Want Change
We aim in bringing transformation in all those fields which a person
suffers but is not able to find solution, as a whole I can say that this
NGO is not that type of organisation which deals only in specific
field because we people believe that there are problems in every sector
and it should be dealt simultaneously.
Tamanna Mehta
Director
We Want Change
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other
time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that
we seek.

About We Want Change
'We Want Change' was an initiative of Samarpan. It started in 2010 with a Facebook page
with the idea of changing the existing corrupt Indian system, which later on developed into a
group of more than 1500 active members. It was then we realised that just online revolution
was incomplete until and unless we start working on the ground level. So, it was the time in
2011, that we fastened our seat belts and took the journey ahead, just with a dream of an out
shining India.
And as we all know that when a child becomes ready to walk then he must walk on his own
and same we did with We Want Change, thus making it as an Self Independent NGO on
2015, and yes this all happened because,
"We Want Change"...DO YOU??
We Want Change is an organisation of young and
enthusiastic individuals with a common aim, and that aim
is, to be a part of the much-needed change, something
which is not new to the Indian society and culture. We
target only and only about the transformation. Our main
ideology is that the present system of our country is fine
because we think that any system or function, no matter
how good or bad it is, it only needs to be re-evaluated and
updated to fit the need of the present generation. Our beloved Mother Land, India, that we all
are so proud, needs some reformation to attain its much-needed place in the World. Being the
largest democratic, social, republic in the world is not an easy task and the structural integrity
of our nation has been challenged from time immemorial. It has stood strong against the tide
of time. As the young and secular generation of the country it is our responsibility to take it
further from here. Hence, We Want Change is a Kaarwa of youth ideologies.
Our History
“A society without discrimination, corruption and
abuse where women have their dignity poor have
their rights, children are educated, Youth is
employed and elder men of the society enjoying
their life”. This was my dream which I had with
an open eye and it was the year 2010 the year
which I Personally called the advent of a new era
“Social Media Revolution”, I saw the rising of the Youth full of enthusiasm, courage, spirit
We Want Change 2016
www.wewantchange.co.in
and belief to bring a change and this motivated and inspired me to gather a group of people
who share the same ideology and spirit under oath of bringing a vital and most needed change
in society. And there I gave birth to a initially Facebook Page “We Want Change” then I met
Mr.Prashant Garje with whom I instituted a group which is now a mammoth group with 1500
+members and in 2011 we finally stepped out of the virtual world to the real and much
different world where many problems and challenges were waiting for us, and I proudly say
that YES we tackled them all. We taught children, we made them admitted to schools as per
their rights guaranteed by “The Constitution of INDIA”, We helped many children to come
out of the hell which this society has created for the Future Of India, it gives us immense
pleasure when we see them smiling and studying. In this mean time, we witnessed that still a
majority of people are in need of “Legal Aid” and found ourselves for them. We organised
many Legal Aid gatherings in Villages of UP. December 2012 some Inhumane characters of
Society committed a heinous Crime which shook the fundamentals of society, country and
our heart.
We fought against the Crime and demanded a CHANGE, send our reports to Justice Verma
Committee. We had an experience in working for the dignity and rights of Women and we
used it here. We trained women to tackle such situation through measures and taekwondo.
The “Land of Spirituality” was suffering from a disastrous Flood and our soul demanded to
help our brothers and sisters so we collected a small fund for their rehabilitation and similarly
we volunteered in UP flood rehabilitation and Relief works. All this way we were duly
recognised by NSS, many NGO’s, major news channels and News Papers.
Vision
To help create a rational society based on legitimate
authority that can secure rights, and preach equality,
justice, liberty and social sensitivity, where the
youth can become self-reliant.
'We Want Change' focuses on the outlook of youth
towards the formation and functioning of various
governmental policies and how these can be
modified for the betterment of society, because
"Today's youth is tomorrow's future".

It was then we realised that just online revolution was incomplete until and unless we start working on the ground level. So, it was the time in 2011, that we fastened our seat belts and took the journey ahead, just with a dream of an out shining India. And as we all know that when a child becomes ready to walk then he must walk on his own and same we did with We Want Change, thus making it as an Self Independent NGO on 2015, and yes this all happened because, "We Want Change"...DO YOU?? We Want Change is an organisation of young and enthusiastic individuals with a common aim, and that aim is, to be a part of the much-needed change, something which is not new to the Indian society and culture. We target only and only about the transformation. Our main ideology is that the present system of our country is fine because we think that any system or function, no matter how good or bad it is, it only needs to be re-evaluated and updated to fit the need of the present generation. Our beloved Mother Land, India, that we all are so proud, needs some reformation to attain its much-needed place in the World. Being the largest democratic, social, republic in the world is not an easy task and the structural integrity of our nation has been challenged from time immemorial. It has stood strong against the tide of time. As the young and secular generation of the country it is our responsibility to take it further from here. Hence, We Want Change is a Kaarwa of youth ideologies. Our History “A society without discrimination, corruption and abuse where women have their dignity poor have their rights, children are educated, Youth is employed and elder men of the society enjoying their life”. This was my dream which I had with an open eye and it was the year 2010 the year which I Personally called the advent of a new era “Social Media Revolution”, I saw the rising of the Youth full of enthusiasm, courage, spirit
  • 5. We Want Change 2016 www.wewantchange.co.in and belief to bring a change and this motivated and inspired me to gather a group of people who share the same ideology and spirit under oath of bringing a vital and most needed change in society. And there I gave birth to a initially Facebook Page “We Want Change” then I met Mr.Prashant Garje with whom I instituted a group which is now a mammoth group with 1500 +members and in 2011 we finally stepped out of the virtual world to the real and much different world where many problems and challenges were waiting for us, and I proudly say that YES we tackled them all. We taught children, we made them admitted to schools as per their rights guaranteed by “The Constitution of INDIA”, We helped many children to come out of the hell which this society has created for the Future Of India, it gives us immense pleasure when we see them smiling and studying. In this mean time, we witnessed that still a majority of people are in need of “Legal Aid” and found ourselves for them. We organised many Legal Aid gatherings in Villages of UP. December 2012 some Inhumane characters of Society committed a heinous Crime which shook the fundamentals of society, country and our heart. We fought against the Crime and demanded a CHANGE, send our reports to Justice Verma Committee. We had an experience in working for the dignity and rights of Women and we used it here. We trained women to tackle such situation through measures and taekwondo. The “Land of Spirituality” was suffering from a disastrous Flood and our soul demanded to help our brothers and sisters so we collected a small fund for their rehabilitation and similarly we volunteered in UP flood rehabilitation and Relief works. All this way we were duly recognised by NSS, many NGO’s, major news channels and News Papers. Vision To help create a rational society based on legitimate authority that can secure rights, and preach equality, justice, liberty and social sensitivity, where the youth can become self-reliant. 'We Want Change' focuses on the outlook of youth towards the formation and functioning of various governmental policies and how these can be modified for the betterment of society, because "Today's youth is tomorrow's future".
