Over 350 ACSA members attended the Legislative Action Day event to advocate for placing a revenue extension measure on the ballot to help address $18 billion in budget cuts schools have faced. On Sunday, Assembly member Felipe Fuentes gave an informative speech. On Monday, ACSA members joined education leaders including State Superintendent Tom Torlakson at a media event urging lawmakers to approve the governor's budget. Members then met with several legislators including Assembly members Wesley Chesbro, Joan Buchanan, and Bill Moning to deliver their message.
