Briefly describe the steps employed to complete the lab. These are not to be a list of
everyt step given to you in the lab but a review of your process.
Observations
Describe what happened in your lab in this section. This section typically includes a data
table or observation table. Your read should be able to determine exactly what you saw
by reading this section. The trick here is to be concise. When scientists publish data they
are essentially paying for every word and inch of space used. Use Microsoft Word or
Excel to build your table. If you want to attach the table to the end of the report then
indicate by using “SEE ATTACHED” to direct your reader to the end.
Analysis and Conclusions
In this section answer any questions posed in your lab. Discuss the implications of your
observations. If necessary compare what did happen to what should have happened.
