This document provides instructions for several learning activities related to studying non-diegetic soundtracks in film. Students are asked to watch scenes from two films and analyze how the non-diegetic soundtracks construct representations of characters. They will then complete a short Twitter-style quiz testing their knowledge of semantic, syntactic, character-based, theory-based, and narrative elements from the areas covered in class. The document outlines objectives to recap and test learning before an upcoming mock exam.

1. Non-Diegetic Soundtrack deconstruction
YOU MUST watch the x2 scenes from EACH text and establish the deeper meanings
associated to the non-diegetic soundtrack lyrics.
YOU SHOULD then compare their meanings and HOW they construct the representation
of the character(s) in the scene.
