Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked country in Central Asia bordered by Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China. The majority of its over 5 million people live in poverty. While Kyrgyzstan is a Muslim nation, few people have a true understanding of Islam and atheism is widespread, but many are open to Christianity. Every Nation missionaries began visiting in 2007 and established a church in the capital Biskek, praying for God's presence in Kyrgyzstan, wisdom and provision for missionaries, the training of church planters, more local leaders, openness to the gospel, and for missionaries to learn Russian.
