I graduate witha Master in Electrical andElectronicEngineeringfromthe Universityof Melbourneand
hope to putthisto use in the fieldof Engineering.Backinguniversity,Istartedtolearncommunication
coursesand trainingthe basicknowledgeatfirsttwoyears.Afterthat,I beganpreparingforthe
graduationproject.Atthat time, smartphone applicationwasthe populartopicthateverystudent
wantedtoget involvedin,soIdecidedtodosomethingrelatedtoAndroidapplicationdevelopment.My
groupwentfor a topiccalledSmart Networkingfora SmartCity.This projectdevelopsasmart
networkingsolutionthatusesnoise andvideodatatransmissiontounderstandbandwidth,delayand
otherchallengesinthe optimizationof networking. AnAndroidapplicationisdesignedusingJava
programmingwhichautomaticallychoosesanappropriate network(wireless,3G,etc.) In orderto raise
the overall networkefficiency,basedondifferenttransmissiondatatypeslike video,picture ormessage.
I tookthe part of uploadingdatato online platformssuchasFacebook,Twitter,We Chatand Evernote,
whichisfollowedbycollectingdatafromdifferenttype of networkinglike bandwidthanddelaytime. In
the last step,Iimplementedthe UtilityFunctionalgorithminthe Androidapplication.
After graduation, I took a full-time position as a System Integration Engineer working for Foxconn
TechnologyGroupinElectricCardepartment(FAiBG).Ihaveputtheoryintopracticeinadiversityof ways.
In the first place, I took part in BMW smart key project, dealing with customers’ inquiry, debugging and
testingthe productinordertomeettherequirementandpassISO26262andISO7637 standard. Secondly,
proposinga plan sellingIVI, DVR,andADAS systemis one of achievementinthe career. I participatedin
those projects through the circuit design, portingcodes and change the algorithm.Moreover,on behalf
of a team, I introduced those products to vehicle manufacturing groups such as Chery Automobile Co.,
Ltd. and Beijing Automobile Works Co. Ltd. What is more, being on a business trip is a part of the job. I
was in charge of setting a booth in the Automotive World Exhibition in Japan and Big Data Exhibitionin
China.
My writtenandoral communicationskillsare excellentandIenjoyworkingaspartof a team.I enjoythe
companyand supportof my peerswhile beingable tomanage myprioritiesandwork.Backingtothe
periodof workingonthe project,myday-to-dayjobinvolvesefficientlymanagingothers,
communicatingcomplexdatatosupervisors.
Problem-solvingandtroubleshootingare taskswhichI face on a dailybasisandam confidentin
resolving.Whenthere isanissue,asoftenhappensinlarge-scaleprojects,Iamsure to investigatethe
issue fully,scope outthe bestmethodstoresolveit,probe implicationsof eachmethod,and
communicate the dataclearlywithall relevantteammembers.
