Presently working in KIMS HOSPITAL, Begum pet, minister road, Secunderabad Hyderabad, as a
intern Trainee in the BIOMEDICAL Engineering Department from May 2015 to present
JOB RESPONSBILITIES
Biomedical Engineering Department is aimed at proper management of all the medical
equipment with efficiency & constancy.
∙ It involves in identification, technical comparison, equipment installation, maintenance &
smooth running.
∙ Ensuring 95% of Equipment up time.
∙ Identification - Identification of need from User Dept.
∙ Call management - Receipt of the call & attending the calls.
∙ Maintenance - Maintenance of the equipments on periodic basis, AMC’s etc
∙ Asset Management - Proper tagging & coding of the equipments & monitoring the movement of
the equipments.
∙ Replacement or New Requirements - Identification of the equipments which are reaching
expiry / end of life/condemnation.
∙ Perform Scheduled or Unscheduled Maintenance of the Equipment.
∙ Updating of Asset lists
∙ Planning & indent of stock, manage consumption.
∙ Daily rounds to concern areas to attend emergency calls.
∙ Train equipment users and Biomedical Technicians to operate equipment safely.
∙ Identification of equipment to be Condemned / Replaced periodically.
∙ Update Knowledgebase on equipment and Technology.
