Twitter can send out a daily update on what occurred in class and any upcoming events or major due dates.
Parents may find the use of twitter updates to be a very convenient way of sending out reminders since man of our students’ paretns are already using this site on a daily basis.
I also use twitter to send out motivational quotes.
Teachers can access motivational or educational quotes from one of many online sources and can tweet out a quote of the day
Some teachers may use twitter to tweet out a fact or figure of the day too
Twitter can be used by teachers to keep themselves up to date in their field
Twitter is a great sources for news, teaching ideas, resources, etc…
By following a wide array of twitter pages or hashtags, teachers can keep with current trends and information
Twitter has the ability to connect teachers instantly
These teachers can be in different classrooms, school, states, or even continents
By creating a hashtag topic or tweeting at one another, teachers can ask a questions, give answers, access resources, or even teach certain aspects of someone else’s classroom.
The possibilities that twitter provides are always expanding and are seemingly limitless
Teachers may not typically think of twitter as a great tool in the classroom, but it can be a great tool for any teacher
The resources, communication, and boundless nature of twitter make it a very fun resource to use in any classroom.
