Preface
In this section the teacher states his/her philosophy and vision of teaching and
academic lifetime.
I believe that, though teachers might not be students anymore but they will
always be learners like the students. In other words, it is not the students only that
learn from the teachers but the vice versa is also true. This is why this fact should be
highly appreciated and students should be dealt with like a necessary and
complimentary part of any teacher’s career life. Teachers having higher qualifications
and more experience than the students should act as facilitators and guidance for the
students in their academic and social life. This could be achieved through understanding
the fact that school is a large community where students spend most of their days there,
identifying learner needs and learning styles and responding to learner curiosities.
Moreover, my vision is to teach students all the skills of the language effectively,
motivate learner autonomy as the teacher wont be there every minute and after school,
assist them have clear goals and objectives after finishing their academic studies and
develop their critical thinking.
