Google Presentation in French
Directions: create a Google Presentation to teach your classmate
about Francophone Africa.
Include: Minimum 10 slides per student
slides with pictures (at least 10)
embedded videos (at least 2)
Music (at least 1)
Text (big enough font for your classmate to read, use friendly color than everybody can read)
Not more than 3 bullets per slide (that’s the rule)Write the text in French.
Title each slide
Read the text in each slide and record your voice (read in French)You should be talking for each slide!
Add interesting transitions
Add interesting PowerPoint background for each slide (there are more background for slide than the
ones offered on google presentation. Just look up PowerPoint background, save them and add them to
your slides).
Answer your driving questions within your presentation
Last slides: your names with what tasks you were responsible for and a slide on
bibliographie/credits/Sources
Collaboration project: Pair up! Not more than 2 persons per group.
Due date: Wednesday, April 3rd
Possible themes:To avoid having 50 identical presentations, each group will choose a different topic

Africa the fauna, flora, and climate and environmental issues (les animaux, les plantes et le climat de
l’Afrique)

You can use the 3 modes of communication (interpersonal, presentational and interpretive)
You can write, read and speak in French using a variety of vocabulary, use proper sentence structures
and verbs/tense and demonstrate that you are aware of cultural differences.
*Do not use online translator for the language in your slides. Use what you know.
