The king cobra is the largest venomous snake, growing up to 15 feet long and weighing up to 9 kg. It lives in forests of East Asia and Africa, preying on other reptiles, frogs, and fish. Though non-aggressive, the king cobra is the most venomous land snake and can live without eating for months after a large meal due to its slow metabolism.
