Professional Experience
Warehouse Associate/Materials Planner
April 2013 to present
VT Lee Boy – Lincolnton, N.C.
I began as a part picker in shipping. Soon became mezzanine organizer and began part consolidation and label
verification process, which was instrumental in our inventory process being more accurate. I then began
consolidating parts in mezzanine and high bays. Finding numerous miss labeled parts, that in turn helped to
find many high end cost items, to help improve our profit margin. I then trained as a shipping clerk, so I could
be a substitute for our regular shipping clerk. I was then trained as RMA associate. As an RMA associate I
was responsible for receiving returned goods. Pull and check drawings. I worked closely with engineers,
production associates, customer service and performing inventory cycle counts. Rejecting, restocking or
putting in inspection. I soon became RMA Coordinator, organizing and implementing new procedures that
saved time and narrowed the margin for mistakes. I was responsible for training temps and new hires in basic
aspects of being a warehouse associate. I was promoted to material planner in Feb. (entry level) Where I
received accolades from my current supervisor, for closing out 44 production packets within a month.
Machine Operator
August 2010 to June 2012
GKN (Formerly Getrag) – Newton, N.C.
I started out as a utility person, (machine operator helper). I quickly advanced to material handler. Where I received
my forklift license. I was then introduced to our PNC and was certified in our lab. I was responsible for calibrating and
mastering the PNCs for the parts being used for production. I was also responsible for checking metals in the Met.
Lab. I ran charts for The Machine operators to insure our parts were up to specs. I ran and was knowledgeable in
repair and maintenance of the soft washer Felsomat.
I then became a Machine Operator. I've ran the Guildemiester (Lathe), I've ran the Generators (cutters), the
Deburrers. Meeting and exceeding production.
I reorganized our warehouse and implemented the reorganization of our part baskets. I
have worked in Lap and Test, shot peen.
I took all maintenance manuals from the company library, and input them into files, so all
the maintenance workers could locate them from any computer in the plant.
I have now been cross trained and can be moved to numerous parts of the plant as needed.
I have also trained new hires
