The video script follows Annie and Arthur as they meet at a club, flirt and leave together. They are shown arguing after Annie finds Arthur with another girl. Later, Arthur is drunk and falls into bed. The band, including Arthur as lead singer, performs at the club. During the performance, Arthur makes eye contact with Annie and pulls her onto the stage to sing with him, reconciling.

2. Kilby Girl – The Backseat Lovers
• For the first 5 seconds of the instrumental, I am going to display the ‘band’s’ logo and name, this will then
fade out to back and forth images of Annie getting ready to go out and then intoxicated in a ‘club’
bathroom for the remaining 6 seconds.
• ‘We’re both throwing smoke into the night’
- Annie and Arthur, are sat on the side of the road outside the ‘club’, they are both smoking.
• ‘It's raining I suppose that you need a ride’
- Arthur speaks these lyrics to Annie.
• ‘She said I've got nothin' to do and neither do you’
- Annie stands up, and pulls Arthur up with her whilst responding with the lyrics.
• ‘There's a place down the road where we can waste the whole afternoon’
- They both walk down the road hand in hand, flirting, until they reach a house, when they open the front
door, it fades into the club.

3. • ‘I overheard that she was nineteen’
- camera is directed on to the stage, where there is a band performing, Arthur is the lead singer and
singing these lyrics, the ‘club’ is packed.
• ‘She's got a fake ID and a nose ring, those kind of girls tend to know things better than I do’
- Annie is attempting to get in, she gets turned away, her friend distracts the ‘bouncer’, Annie sneaks in.
• ‘And I'm dying to figure out what she's hiding’
- Arthur is singing these lyrics, pointing and dedicating them to Annie
• ‘She’s playing it cool but she’s lying’
- Makes her way through to the front of the crowd
• ‘Better than I do’
- Crowd singing these lyrics
• ‘Feels like a night to carry a tune’
- Arthur is sat on the end of the bed playing the guitar, Annie is in bed.
• ‘I've been carrying yours since you wrecked my room. And I've got nothing to do and neither do you’
- Annie shows picture on a phone to Arthur of him and another girl, they get into an argument, Annie
throws stuff around the room, camera follows Annie down the stairs and out the door, pans to Arthur
looking upset.

4. • ‘So we chase jack with love’
- Arthur takes a shot
• ‘And waste away the whole afternoon’
- Arthur is drunk, falling up the stairs, falls in to bed, camera zooms in on forehead
• ‘I overheard that she was nineteen she's got a fake ID and a nose ring’
- Zooms out of Arthur’s forehead, the band is back on stage, Arthur is singing, close ups of guitar.
• ‘Those kind of girls tend to know things better than I do’
- Annie walks into the club, Arthur is shocked to see her, they make eye contact, back and forth shots of both
their faces.
• ‘And I'm dying to figure out what she's hiding’
- Arthur walks of the stage and towards Annie, he grabs her hand and takes her on stage.
• ‘She's playing it cool but she's lying’
- Arthur still singing, and audience shots.
• ‘Better than I do’
- Annie and Arthur both sing the last line together with the band.
• Pan of audience during the instrumental and fades out into black.
