Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

Severo Ochoa by Kevin
1. Severo Ochoa
Imagine if you won co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and came up with a
enzyme that helps scientist. Well that's what Severo Ochoa did.
Severo was born in September 24,1906 in Spain. He was the youngest in his
seven brothers. Severo's dad was a lawyer and a business man. But sadly his dad
died when Severo was 7 years old.
Severo went to a medical school at the University of Madrid which is a very
good university. After Severo graduated in 1929, he went to Germany to study. He
came back to Spain with a smarter Ochoa. Severo's study was on human
anatomy and physiology. Ochoa made his first publication in biochemistry. Later
he became a chairman in the department of pharmacology, and again he switched
and became a chairman for the department of biochemistry, he was a chairman
so many times. Later on he met a man named Arthur Komberg, they teamed up
to make a enzyme that can synthesize DNA.
After a lot of hard work they had accomplished their goal they had created a
enzyme what will help the scientist recreate DNA so they can help injured
people. Later on Severo Ochoa became the co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Their where many obstacles Severo had to face. His father died when Severo
Ochoa was 7 years old. It was a tough time for him and his family, his mom had to
take care of 8 kids! When things where about to get better the Spanish war
broke out. Severo's family where moving back and forth everywhere! This was
probably the hardest time for Ochoa. They ran out of food, dirty water, and smoke
everywhere. But even the obstacles could not stop Severo from stop studying. He
overcame the obstacles and ended up being co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Severo's influence was Jimenez Diaz. Jimenez Diaz was also a we'll know
2. man, their is a hospital named after him. Diaz
encouraged
Severo to keep
going. When
Arthur and Severo
was going down
he put them back
up. Severo thinks
that Jimenez is a
hero to him.
University of Madrid
Severo was a
hero in so many ways, he overcame a lot of
Severo Ochoa
obstacles and kept studying. Even when Arthur
wanted to quit, he encouraged him that they could do it. Things would look
different if he did not invent the enzyme, we would have no medicine.Ochoa is a
great hero and he changed society in a GREAT way.
