• In 1968, the Bell family established Diversified Equipment of the Carolinas (“DEC”). DEC was the first
independent United Air Specialists sales representative
• In 2020, Kogi Capital acquired the company from the Bell family so that the owners could retire

CNC Machining – Walter Machine Tools
Challenges:
Smoke and oil mist from CNC machining
Urgently needed to fabricate machine mounted
stands for its existing mist-collectors
Several machines in use but not properly installed as
the Company was reconfiguring its CNCs
Supply-chains significantly strained
Solution:
Fabricated three of the eleven stands needed at our
shop for the three heaviest polluting machines

week after receipt of order

Dust collection – Edwards Councilor
Challenges:
The facility had two old dust collectors (one
Dust-Hog and one Donaldson-Torit) that
needed to be replaced due to age and size
Ducting needed to be redone
Height of the rooms was a limiting factor
The dust collection was vital for the
operations of the company. They wanted a
trustable and reliable solution

Designed a new ducting system appropriate
for dust collection

We strive to always do what is best for the customer • We work with top-quality OEMs with the objective of providing a solution to exceed our clients’ needs • Our team today consists of three field techs, three application specialists (sales), an office manager, and a general manager Our history • In 1968, the Bell family established Diversified Equipment of the Carolinas (“DEC”). Dust collection – Edwards Councilor Challenges: The facility had two old dust collectors (one Dust-Hog and one Donaldson-Torit) that needed to be replaced due to age and size Ducting needed to be redone Height of the rooms was a limiting factor The dust collection was vital for the operations of the company.
