Sanders.

childhood on a farm in Indiana.
⢠His father died when sanders was 6 years old, leaving the
latter with the responsibility of taking care of a younger
brother and a sister.
⢠Sanders was a decent enough chef by the age of 10.
⢠His mother remarried when he was 12 years old.

School

school. So, he dropped out from the school at age of 7

⢠Harland Sanders bought a small place at a service
station in Corbin, Kentuchy in 1930. Here, he started
to serve classic southern dishes to travellers.

⢠His breakthrough came in 1939 when he found that
frying his chicken and signature â11 herbs and spicesâ
in a new device, a pressure cooker (different form the

next decade, and in 1950 the governor of Kentuchy
named him âKENTUCHY COLONELâ to Harland Sanders.

⢠In 1952, however, the construction of a new highway
rendered his restaurant with almost no customers.
⢠He opened another restaurant it also closed due to world
war.
⢠He decided that he sold his recipe to small restaurants and
earn profits( in form of royalties) . But, his recipe was

Lawyer named John Y Brown and a venture capitalist, Jack Massey.

⢠In 1971, The company was sold to HEUBLEIN INDUSTRIES for U.S
$285Million.
⢠In 1982, HEUBLEINN was acquired by R.J. REYNOLDS, THE
TOBACCO GIANT.
⢠In 1986, REYNOLDS sold KFC to PEPSICO for US $840Million.

⢠All chicken pieces should be 8cm wide and must weight roughly 300g.
