Kenny and Norton, owners of a sporting goods manufacturing and retail operation, are meeting with Tony, director of human resources, and Bobby, the manager of a new store. Twenty-five employees have just been hired, and the new store in south Florida is scheduled to open in a month. Norton thunders, “No way am I going to bring all those socialist bozos up here for a week! What’s the matter with you! Why did you hire a bunch of socialists?” Kenny calms him, “He said to socialize them, not that they were socialists. But why should they come here for a party? We should go to south Florida! And I think an opening party is a great idea. Bobby, that’s your idea, right?” Bobby smiles, and Tony says, “I don’t mean party. I mean get them used to the way things run at TEAM FUN! They need to know the rules, what’s expected of them, how to treat the customers and each other, that sort of thing.” Kenny asks, “What did you do when you interviewed them? I thought they’d know what to expect from day one.” Norton adds, “I know as soon as I meet someone if they should work at TEAM FUN! Anyway, people just all work out or quit right away—first day, usually. New people just start one day, follow someone around for a week, and then they are fine.” Tony looks helplessly at both of them until Norton finally says, “Oh, I get it. There is no one down there for a new person to follow around. Everyone will be new!” Tony nods his head. So does Kenny. Norton continues, “That’s still a lot of airfare. I thought you said they were mostly family people. Do we have to bring all their kids and dogs up here, too? Find another way.” Kenny offers, “Dogs don’t usually like to fly. I don’t know. Remember that video we did for Christmas last year? Ginny followed everyone around at work for a few minutes with her video camera. I think I’m the only one who watched the whole thing. Most everyone only watched their part and the rest of the crew they worked with. Tony, could we send the video to Florida with a few key people to run everyone through their paces a week or so before we open? Would that be socialization?” Norton frowns, “We just started working when we opened this store. The organisation is split into county groups and there is a thriving branch of over 1200 members in Penfield.
Sam Jones, the leader of the Penfield branch, has proposed a local demonstration against the Bill to take place on the 1

As a precursor to your research paper, you will be writing a bibliography, which includes an annotation for each of the sources you plan to use.
An annotated bibliography is a list, in MLA style, of sources used in a particular essay. Each citation is followed by a paragraph (the annotation) that includes a brief summary of that source’s main points, an assessment of the source, and how the source relates to the essay’s topic.
Criteria:
· Just as for your research paper, your bibliography must include 5 sources total. Look for sources in the library catalog, or databases such as Gale Literary Sources, Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, or the MLA International Bibliography with Full Text on the ELAC library website.
· Include a creative working title for your research paper.
· Your annotations must be between 150 and 250 words long. You must do three things in each annotation:
· Summarize the main points of the source.
· Assess the source. Here, reflect on the source’s:
· Goal (What is the source trying to do? Educate? Argue? Inform? Convince? Find a strong verb to help you explain).

Introduction
:
Electric circuits can be defined as closed or continuous paths in which electric currents are confined and around which electric currents can be caused to flow. Electrical circuits are an essential part of daily living, and may be found in heavy and light industry, commercial installations and operations, and residential applications. Modern life and its many conveniences seem inconceivable without the use of electric circuits.
The total resistance of a circuit is the sum of the individual resistances of the power source, the wiring, and the load. The load resistance is generally much higher than either the resistance of the power source or the wiring. The resistances of the wiring are usually neglected in classroom laboratory experiments. Very rarely is circuit wiring significant in experimental work. In these cases we consider the loads resistances to be the only resistance. Wiring resistance may be considerable in the case of transmission cables, as well as telephone lines, which are many miles long, and we have a lab which investigates and calculates the resistance in such cables and the lost power and energy due to these lengths.
If an arbitrary load of relatively low resistance were connected to an existing power supply or voltage source, an excessive current might flow to the load, causing burn up or other malfunctions with the load and wiring.
The current can be reduced
by reducing the source voltage, but this is not always feasible and is frequently impossible. The resistances of the voltage source or the load could be increased, but these are usually built right into the source or load. Resistances of connecting wires are so low that miles would be needed to increase the circuit resistance by more than a few dozen ohms. A selection of materials for connecting wires might be useful, but a better method would be to creation of a device that is specifically a resistor that can be included with the circuit to give the net or total resistance needed to provide the desired current for the voltage source involved.
In any DC circuit, the total current is equal to the power source voltage divided by the total or equivalent resistance. For a Series Circuit, this is the only current. This means that if the current in some portion of the circuit is known, the total current and the current through every part of the circuit is known. The sum of the voltage drops across the resistors in series is equal to the power supply voltage.
In Parallel Circuits, the total current from the power source divides into different paths as in approaches the parallel branches. The voltage drop across parallel branches is the same for all the branches. If the voltage drop for one branch is known, the voltage drop for all the parallel branches is known.
The sum of the currents in the various branches is equal to the current from the po.

As a precursor to your research paper, you will be writing a bibliography, which includes an annotation for each of the sources you plan to use.
An annotated bibliography is a list, in MLA style, of sources used in a particular essay. Each citation is followed by a paragraph (the annotation) that includes a brief summary of that source’s main points, an assessment of the source, and how the source relates to the essay’s topic.
Criteria:
· Just as for your research paper, your bibliography must include 5 sources total. Look for sources in the library catalog, or databases such as Gale Literary Sources, Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, or the MLA International Bibliography with Full Text on the ELAC library website.
· Include a creative working title for your research paper.
· Your annotations must be between 150 and 250 words long. You must do three things in each annotation:
· Summarize the main points of the source.
· Assess the source. Here, reflect on the source’s:
· Goal (What is the source trying to do? Educate? Argue? Inform? Convince? Find a strong verb to help you explain).
· Biases (Is the source objective/neutral or heavily trying to influence its readers to believe something? This is connected to the source’s goal. You may also consider what else the author could have added to his or her argument in this section).
· Reliability (How do you know the author is reputable? How do you know the publication is reputable? Do a Google search on both if you have to!).
· Reflectspecifically on the usefulness of the source to your paper.
· Your citations must follow MLA style. It is your job to use the OWL at Purdue website to figure out how to format each citation. Remember, though, that many library databases format citations for you. You can just copy and paste them!

Introduction
:
Electric circuits can be defined as closed or continuous paths in which electric currents are confined and around which electric currents can be caused to flow. Electrical circuits are an essential part of daily living, and may be found in heavy and light industry, commercial installations and operations, and residential applications. Modern life and its many conveniences seem inconceivable without the use of electric circuits.
The total resistance of a circuit is the sum of the individual resistances of the power source, the wiring, and the load. The load resistance is generally much higher than either the resistance of the power source or the wiring. The resistances of the wiring are usually neglected in classroom laboratory experiments. Very rarely is circuit wiring significant in experimental work. In these cases we consider the loads resistances to be the only resistance. Wiring resistance may be considerable in the case of transmission cables, as well as telephone lines, which are many miles long, and we have a lab which investigates and calculates the resistance in such cables and the lost power and energy due to these lengths.
If an arbitrary load of relatively low resistance were connected to an existing power supply or voltage source, an excessive current might flow to the load, causing burn up or other malfunctions with the load and wiring.
The current can be reduced
by reducing the source voltage, but this is not always feasible and is frequently impossible. The resistances of the voltage source or the load could be increased, but these are usually built right into the source or load. Resistances of connecting wires are so low that miles would be needed to increase the circuit resistance by more than a few dozen ohms. A selection of materials for connecting wires might be useful, but a better method would be to creation of a device that is specifically a resistor that can be included with the circuit to give the net or total resistance needed to provide the desired current for the voltage source involved.
In any DC circuit, the total current is equal to the power source voltage divided by the total or equivalent resistance. For a Series Circuit, this is the only current. This means that if the current in some portion of the circuit is known, the total current and the current through every part of the circuit is known. The sum of the voltage drops across the resistors in series is equal to the power supply voltage.
In Parallel Circuits, the total current from the power source divides into different paths as in approaches the parallel branches. The voltage drop across parallel branches is the same for all the branches. If the voltage drop for one branch is known, the voltage drop for all the parallel branches is known.

How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.

The temple and the sanctuary around were dedicated to Asklepios Zmidrenus. This name has been known since 1875 when an inscription dedicated to him was discovered in Rome. The inscription is dated in 227 AD and was left by soldiers originating from the city of Philippopolis (modern Plovdiv).

- 1. Kenny and Norton, owners of a sporting goods manufacturing and retail operation, are meeting with Tony, director of human resources, and Bobby, the manager of a new store. Twenty-five employees have just been hired, and the new store in south Florida is scheduled to open in a month. Norton thunders, “No way am I going to bring all those socialist bozos up here for a week! What’s the matter with you! Why did you hire a bunch of socialists?” Kenny calms him, “He said to socialize them, not that they were socialists. But why should they come here for a party? We should go to south Florida! And I think an opening party is a great idea. Bobby, that’s your idea, right?” Bobby smiles, and Tony says, “I don’t mean party. I mean get them used to the way things run at TEAM FUN! They need to know the rules, what’s expected of them, how to treat the customers and each other, that sort of thing.” Kenny asks, “What did you do when you interviewed them? I thought they’d know what to expect from day one.” Norton adds, “I know as soon as I meet someone if they should work at TEAM FUN! Anyway, people just all work out or quit right away—first day, usually. New people just start one day, follow someone around for a week, and then they are fine.” Tony looks helplessly at both of them until Norton finally says, “Oh, I get it. There is no one down there for a new person to follow around. Everyone will be new!” Tony nods his head. So does Kenny.
- 2. Norton continues, “That’s still a lot of airfare. I thought you said they were mostly family people. Do we have to bring all their kids and dogs up here, too? Find another way.” Kenny offers, “Dogs don’t usually like to fly. I don’t know. Remember that video we did for Christmas last year? Ginny followed everyone around at work for a few minutes with her video camera. I think I’m the only one who watched the whole thing. Most everyone only watched their part and the rest of the crew they worked with. Tony, could we send the video to Florida with a few key people to run everyone through their paces a week or so before we open? Would that be socialization?” Norton frowns, “We just started working when we opened this store. What’s the big deal?” Tony says, “That was just the two of you, and you’d known each other all your lives.” Norton looks at him skeptically. “So?” Questions: 1. Explain to Kenny and Norton why employee socialization is necessary (or not necessary) for the new TEAM FUN! store. 2. What orientation activities do you recommend? Who should be involved? 3. What training needs should they consider?
