The KDS-600 AC Back-up Battery provides backup power for external motors up to 5.2A through its 220V AC inverter. It can power gate motors for approximately 8 minutes on a full charge and recharges in 12 hours when plugged into a 190-250V AC mains supply. The backup battery uses a 433MHz remote control with a range of 50 meters and can store codes from up to 24 remote controls.

KDS-600 is proper to 5.2A is proper to external motor. If there is no mains supply,
Enabling the external motor forward and reverse motion guarantee the gate running
normally.[ Switching to universal match function 1. Compatible with most of the
remote handle, no matter fixed code, learning code or rolling code. 2. Applicable to
the backup battery for sliding gate, garage door, retractable gate and industrial gate
and so on. Noted: all of their current should be lower than 5.2A.

Ⅱ: 1. (Blue light is always on) The motor connector connect to backup battery as
picture 1; The backup battery plug in mains supply, the remote is able to control the
forward and reverse rotation.
2. The normal connection method and the pairing code step: ( Can learning 24
transmitter code cyclically, return to cover if over 24 transmitters)
◆ Pairing code: Using insulating rod press code button, the buzzer intermittent ring( exit
automatically after 10 seconds), press the [ UP ▲] or [ DOWN ▼] two seconds, successfully
pair-code after release the button. Press each button on remote, check each function.
◆ Code withdrawal : using insulated rob press pairing key 10 seconds, the buzzer ring for a while,
release the key, cleared successfully.
◆ The effective transmitting distance of remote is 50 meters. When the distance is short, please
change the battery in the remote.( hold more than 1 seconds when pressing the key on remote)
◆ Forward and reverse switch. Using insulated rod press the universal matching key 2
seconds(Must be less than 2 seconds), then release, the buzzer “beep” only one sound, successfull

Ⅲ Universal match connection
1. ( Blue light flashes)As the right picture, the motor out-connects to common control
box, the plug-in of the control box insert in backup battery, the backup battery plug to
mains supply, then pair code as universal match steps. The remote start the backup
battery and output 220V power, supply electricity to control box when mains supply
goes off. The backup battery can control the forward and reverse rotation and
guarantee the gate work normally.
2. Universal match switch, using insulated rod press universal match key 10 seconds,
the buzzer “beep” one sound. Blue light flashes, switch successfully.
3. The code-pairing steps of universal match( can learn 24 transmitters code
cyclically, return to learn after 24 transmitters)
◆ Using insulated rod to press code-paring key ， the buzzer intermittently ring( exit
automatically after 10 seconds), press the [up ▲ ] key 2 seconds], pair successfully after 2
seconds.
◆ Using insulated rod to press code-pairing key, the buzzer intermittently ring( exit
automatically after 10 seconds). Press p[ down ▼] 2 seconds, pair successfully after 2 seconds.
4. Universal match can work with most remote in the market, such as fixed code, learning code
and rolling code.

When mains supply is on, Blue light is on, red light is on. The red light flashed, the
battery is full. No mains supply, blue light is on.
Ⅴ The Steps of Using Backup Battery
◆ Fixate the backup battery( far from the land, and children can not reach it), connect
it to the motor as the diagram.
◆ Switch on, press keys on remote. Control the forward, reverse and stop of the
motor.( The blue light is on when the turn on the backup battery)
◆ Plug in mains supply, press the key on remote, each control function is normal.
◆ Charging completely, red flight flashes.
Ⅵ The Instruction of the Backup Battery
When the battery discharges to almost empty, the buzzer ring the alarm sound. When
the battery discharges to empty, the inverter stop supply electricity. Please charge the
battery in time.

4. Ⅶ Malfunction and Trouble-shooting
Malfunction Solution
Connect to the power, red light isn’t on Check the fuse, maker sure the switch is
on; Check if the 220V plug-in is inserted
correctly.
Check the power cable was bite by
