Kathy Steinberg began her research career at Harris Interactive more than 9 years ago as a
Research Assistant for the Public Relations Research Practice and today serves as a Senior
Research Manager for the Harris Poll Insights Team. She has experience in both quantitative
and qualitative research methods, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of fast
turnaround omnibus surveys as well as large-scale custom studies. Having recently returned to
research after spending a year in sales, Kathy is also actively involved in the PR team’s business
development and marketing efforts. Kathy has worked on domestic and international projects
in industries as diverse as health care, travel, and technology, and on topics such as computer
and online security, environment issues, and personal finance. Kathy earned her Bachelor of
Science degree in Human Development from Cornell University, with concentrations in
Developmental Psychology, Social and Personality Development, and Adolescence.
