You will play each opponent two rally-scored games to 25 points, starting at 4-4, with a 29 point cap.
The team listed first will be the home team. Warm-ups prior to a team’s first match will be the
standard 18 minute warm-up (5-6-6-1). A warm-up of 7 minutes will be allowed prior to each match
thereafter (3-3-shared 1). Your team should be ready to play immediately following the preceding
match. WE WILL RUN AHEAD, SO BE PREPARED TO PLAY. We will use the Elementary and High
School Gyms.

The top two teams in each pool will be seeded into the pre-determined bracket below. Seeds will be
determined based upon the win-loss records of games. In case of a tie we will look at the overall
point differential. Next will be defensive points scored against each team. In case there is still a tie a
15 point game will be played to determine who will advance (win by 2). Playoffs will begin
IMMEDIATELY following pool play and we will run ahead. Playoffs will be a regulation match: best 2
of 3 to 25 points starting at 0-0—no cap; if a third and deciding match is needed, it will be to 25, no
cap. Plaques will be awarded for 1st

Thank you for participating in this year’s Fight or Flight Classic. I have included a bracket for the
tournament this year. The top two teams in each pool will go on to bracket play and there will be a
3rd
place game. We will again be using the high school gym where the varsity contests are held and
the elementary gym which is located down the hill from the high school facility. There will be locker
rooms available, but not locked.
Also, we will have one hospitality room at the high school cafeteria for coaches, bus drivers, and
administrators (please NO students or parents). Teams will be responsible for providing an adult
line judge and a libero checker. The tournament fee is again $100, please bring a PO or check the day
of the tournament, or mail payment to:
