This document summarizes a student project to improve living conditions at the Junnu building in Helsinki, Finland, which houses almost 250 exchange students. The project aimed to create a better living environment through improving physical spaces and enhancing resident participation. Surveys identified two main issues: lack of communication between residents and management, and poor physical conditions. The project team addressed communication by creating information guides and an online community page. They also renovated several common areas like the common room, halls, laundry room and saunas to improve the building's conditions.
