Outreach Services has been conducting a Summer
Reading Program for years. Although we know you
already love to read, it is a fun way to further involve our
patrons with the library. A couple years ago we began
including DVD’s and music CD’s in the contest. This
year we have started something new. Look for a Golden
Ticket in your delivery items. Find it, sign your name on the back and
return it to us for an opportunity to be entered into a weekly prize
drawing. If you are concerned about these prizes costing the library
money, fear not! We have wonderful sponsors who provide us with gift
cards and items to give away. Our sponsors this year are Raisin Rack,
Hoover Gardens, Roush Hardware, Reno’s Floral and our wonderful
Friends of the Library! So have fun and be sure to participate!!!
*Julie Kerns is also a NOTARY and will be glad to come to your home to notarize items for you. Please call us if you need
this service. 614-259-5034.

Little Free Library
The Westerville Public Library will soon be adding another
branch…well, sort of. Outreach will be running a Little Free
Library. You may have seen these out and about– usually in
neighbors’ front lawn or in public spaces like parks. These
little libraries contain many free books and people are
encouraged to take one, return it later or pass it on, and to
also add some good titles if you have any. Our library will be
located at Hawthorne Elementary off of 161 so if you are in
the area, stop by and check out what hidden gems the Little
Free Library has to offer!
