Jefferson Street Raises $14,500 for March of Dimes
Jefferson Street and Marshall Street employees join together to “March for Babies.”
Neither rain nor cool temperatures can stop our
employees, their families and friends from coming out
to support such a worthy cause - March for Babies.
On Saturday, April 17, approximately 85 employees
from Jefferson Street and Marshall Street braved the
elements at White Rock Lake to enjoy a leisurely walk
or a quick run.
Many employees, and their family members or
friends, have been touched because a child came
too soon or was born with challenges. Vought and Vera Hodge and grandson
its employees have been generous with their money
and time. Many parents get an opportunity to see
their children thrive and live life to its fullest because
people like Vought employee’s care enough to make Georgeann and Kaz Laszlo
a difference in the life of someone they may never
meet.
Together, Marshall Street and Jefferson Street
raised close to $20,000 through raffles, bake sales,
T-shirt sales, and other activities. Thank you to
everyone who participated either by walking, running,
buying a shirt or donating money. Your money will be Ride to Wellness
