Key Experience: Joseph Zhao is currently working with Wanda Commercial Property Group’s international
project development sector. With his solid architecture design and project management
background, he has heavily involved into Wanda project developments in UK, Spain,
Australia and United States.
With his position holding in Wanda Group, Joseph started with group’s first international
project development in London. He worked as senior project manager particularly in
charge of design and program. The project scale is over 106,000sqm GFA with twin
tower complex building for both luxury hotel (188 keys) and apartment (489 units). From
late 2014, Joseph is relocated to Gold Coast, Australia for Wanda Group’s second
international project development- the “Jewel”. His involvement includes early stage
project planning approval, design development and later construction stage. As an iconic
project for the Commonwealth game, it has drawn strong attention from Federal, state
and local different level governments. The “Jewel” project is also an international award
winning project by International Property Award based in London. This remarkable
development including more than 144,000sqm development area, three jewelry shape
towers to accommodate a luxury Wanda Hotel (169 keys) and over 500 luxury
apartments. With 3 years working experience in Wanda international projects, Joseph
has gained extensively strong experience for large scale complex development in first tie
countries around the world.
Before Joseph joining Wanda Group, he had worked as an architecture designer for over
7 years in Australia leading design companies. He also worked as a senior project
manager in an European design company based in China for three years. With his
academic certificate and degrees, all the Chinese and international practical experience
has helped him develop a gradual successful career.
