ERT Design Group is an architectural and interior design firm founded in 2008 that focuses on hospitality and retail projects. They offer a full range of design services and work with clients from initial site selection through opening. The firm is led by Principal Elizabeth Torres, who has over 16 years of experience in New York City and abroad working for hotel and retail brands. She leads a team that includes Senior Project Managers Cory Attardo and Abby Tyapon, who have extensive experience with prototype and custom commercial projects.

2. ERT Design Group began in 2008 and we have grown every year since. Our design
philosophy is to change the way our Clients look at space one location at a time.
Our firm focuses on Hospitality and Retail projects which allowed us to truly master our skills
and better serve our Clients. We offer a full range of services, and are an active member of our
Clients team from initial site selection thru opening day. With our affiliates we can also offer
services throughout the continental United States.
Elizabeth Torres, Principal
Over 16 years of experience in NYC and abroad. Elizabeth began her career
as an expeditor during college and then worked on small prototype roll outs
in the metro area. She lived in Phoenix for 7 years working on Starwood
Hotels, Unitech and traveling internationally. Elizabeth has served as the
Director of Architecture and Design for one of the largest American retail
brands and Director of Hospitality for a Nationally top 5 ranked Interior
Design firm. She has worked in over 20 states and 13 countries to serve
Hospitality and Retail clients of all levels.

3. Cory Attardo, Senior Project Manager
With the firm since 2010, and over 8 years experience; Cory has been an integral part
of the team and respected for his work in the Potbelly NYC roll out, Panera Bread, Melt
Shop, Orange Theory and Little Beet projects. His attention to detail and sketch
abilities have allowed Cory to communicate with the Client and General Contractor
seamlessly both verbally and thru illustration. Cory is also an accomplished artist with
several blogs, cartoons and t-shirts designs. Cory’s experience includes Landmark
Preservation, expediting, and re-development projects.

Abby Tyapon, Senior Project Manager
With the firm since 2008 and has worked with Elizabeth since 2005, Abby began her
career in the Philippines before migrating to NYC. She has over 12 years experience in
prototype and custom commercial projects. He experience includes Landmarks
Preservation, Sidewalk Cafes, and Public Assembly projects. Abby has executed and
developed prototypes with Just Salad, Starbucks, Mc Donalds, Wendy’s, Panera
Bread, 27 Dressings, Five Guys and many more.
