I have worked in several hospitals over London, Bedford and Cheltenham General. I started work as a
nurse once I had left school. My experience includes district nursing, surgical and medical wards,
residential and nursing homes. I then progressed onto becoming a cardiac technician. I studied
medical physics day release whilst working at Bedford Hospital. My duties were to perform various
heart and lung tests on both inpatients and outpatients,analyse the results producing reports that were
given to consultants. Ialso held the ‘crash bleep’ and was a team member of the crash team for
Bedford Hospital. For this I had to be clear headed,working well under extreme pressure while paying
attention to detail.
Since moving to Gloucestershire in 2004, I have worked towards a career change from the medical
field. My past employment has given me valuable skills that I hope to pass on towards my accounting
career. I am a strong team player, proactive problem solver and able to work with others to facilitate
solutions to problems. I enjoy challenges and the chance to further my knowledge in all I participate
