2. April 12th 1985 “Mr. and Mrs. Daniel O’Rourke request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Susan Mary to John Robert Velek Friday, the twelfth of April nineteen hundred and eighty-five at six o’clock Presentation B.V.M. Church 100 Old Soldiers Road Cheltenham, Pennsylvania”
29. Happy 25th Anniversary! Love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century. - Mark Twain We all know you two know what perfect love is. Cheers to the happy couple!
30. Toast to the couple Please raise your glasses to this amazing couple who have made it through twenty five years of happiness and joy, sorrows and losses, and remained committed to each other and in love through it all. To John and Susan who have taught us the true meanings of devotion, commitment, and love. We raise our glass to you as you celebrate a lifetime together. May your love carry you for another 50 years!
31. We'd also like to toast the BEST PARENTS ever. They have seen us through the good times and the bad. They have loved us unconditionally and always been there to pick us up when we stumbled. Hugs were there to heal our hurts, and their words inspired us to try again. They cheered us on when we played sports, and they taught us life lessons when we made mistakes. They always made sure we had fun, and always gave us the best Christmas in the whole world. Holidays and celebrations were never missed. Every summer they took us to the beach for a fun filled family vacation. Memories are something they are fond of making, and are the times we will never forget. They never complained when they had to chauffeur us around. Moving Lauren into her dorm at Temple, and then her several apartments. Taking each of us to work and back, friends houses or the mall, and random pick ups in the late hours. Mom and Dad, you have set a very high standard for us. Through the years, and here today, you have shown us the best example of two people in love. Let's lift our glasses once more in a toast to two of the most wonderful people. May you have many, many more happy years together!
32. Here’s to another 25 (and more) happily married years, and that house on the beach for the grandkids
