This document summarizes Innovate UK's anticipated commitments in several priority areas for 2014-2015. It outlines funding programs and competitions in aerospace, rail, marine, and low carbon vehicles technologies. In aerospace, a £10 million grant program called HITEA 3 will focus on enabling innovative technologies and be announced in March 2015. In rail, the Acceleration Innovation in Rail 3 program will provide up to £6 million in grants for improving customer experience in travel. The marine program will include calls on vessel efficiency and maritime autonomous systems. Commitments also include a potential £10 million investment in a battery facility for electric vehicles and continued support for cross-cutting advanced materials and manufacturing technologies.
