Personal Attributes:
Loyalty
Loyalty is a major attribute that I have to offer potential employers. I am the kind of person that will stick
by someone through thick and thin and I will finish something before I move on to other tasks.
Reliable
Through my time of playing, coaching and volunteering at sporting clubs I have developed my reliability
and I can be trusted to complete a task when asked or be at a certain place by a certain time.
Organisation
4
Coaching junior sports has forced me to vastly improve my organisation skills because so many people
rely on me to be ready to coach and have a particular plan in place and have any equipment that I
might need ready to go at my disposal.
Responsible
Being responsible for large groups of people during my coaching means that I have to be reliable for
the kids and parents to make sure I get to games and trainings on time. When I parent leaves their child
under my supervision I always make sure that they stay safe and healthy until their parents return to
pick them up. I have also taken on a number of different responsibilities as a cricket club committee
member including being a part of the committee for four years and being vice-president of the club at
just the age of 19.
Communication
Through my various volunteer roles I have become accustomed to communicating with a men and
women from a number of different age groups. I believe this will make me a valuable employee
because I will be able to deal with people in a mature way.
Leadership
While I have coached a number of different sporting teams, I have also captained a number of the
teams along with being a school captain in year 12. This means that I know how to take charge of large
groups of people and direct them in a positive and successful manner.
Initiative
As a budding journalist I know that initiative is an important attribute and I believe I have it. To help
break into the industry of the media, I created my very own website that showcases my different skills
and articles that I have written, sort of like an online portfolio.
