How To Optimize Atlassian Jira & Jira Align for Your Agile at Scale SuccessCprime
As Agile adoption increased over the last decade, many organizations confront challenges in scaling. What often starts with a grassroots adoption of Atlassian needs to amplify from just a team of teams to a true train, program, or tribe.
To effectively scale and mature, companies need to coordinate work across multiple initiatives, with multiple teams sharing a unified backlog while applying standardization or best practices as they move from initiative to initiative.
And to get there, you need the right Atlassian tool foundation in place from the outset and a clear path forward.
Join us as our presenters, Brandon Huff, VP-Atlassian Solutions, and Tina Behers, Delivery Director-Business Agility, share insights into how to effectively harness Atlassian Jira and Jira Align as the engines of your agile transformation at scale.
In this session, we'll explore:
• The agile scaling challenges organizations face with aligning to Atlassian tools and how to mitigate them
• How to build solid foundations for your Atlassian deployment and adjust as you go
• How to configure Jira to optimally support Jira Align
• How to determine which scaling solution is best for your current specific needs and objectives

Agile Center of Excellence : Presented by Rahul Sudame oGuild .
When any organization plans to move to Agile methodology, it needs to plan multiple initiatives for successful transition. One of the important initiative would be building an Agile Center of Excellence, a team which would support for consistency of Agile implementation across the organization. The Agile CoE we built worked on multiple aspects such as:
Defining organization-wide Agile methodology, tailoring it as per organization environment if required.
Build knowledge of Agile across the organization.
Supporting the team members with any ongoing queries.
Support in building required Tools and Templates required implementing Agile.
Assessing Agile implementation of different projects, identifying any gaps or improvement areas.
This session covered practical experience of how we built a successful Center of Excellence, which become a big enabler for successful Agile transformation.

Leading a large-scale agile transformation isn’t about adopting a new set of attitudes, processes, and behaviors at the team level… it’s about helping your company deliver faster to market, and developing the ability to respond to a rapidly-changing competitive landscape. First and foremost, it’s about achieving business agility. Business agility comes from people having clarity of purpose, a willingness to be held accountable, and the ability to achieve measurable outcomes. Unfortunately, almost everything in modern organizations gets in the way of teams acting with any sort of autonomy. In most companies, achieving business agility requires significant organizational change.
Agile transformation necessitates a fundamental rethinking of how your company organizes for delivery, how it delivers value to its customers, and how it plans and measures outcomes. Agile transformation is about building enabling structures, aligning the flow of work, and measuring for outcomes based progress. It's about breaking dependencies. The reality is that this kind of change can only be led from the top. This talk will explore how executives can define an idealized end-state for the transformation, build a fiscally responsible iterative and incremental plan to realize that end-state, as well as techniques for tracking progress and managing change.
While traditional performance metrics often measure individual output or adherence to pre-defined plans, measuring performance in agile teams requires a different approach. Agile teams operate in iterative cycles, prioritizing adaptability and learning over rigid goals. So, why do organizations still measure their performance?
By using the right metrics in the right way, organizations can empower their agile teams to thrive and deliver exceptional results.

The complexity in the simplicity of Agile? by Arie van BennekumAgile ME
Looking at Agile, it is so simple. In fact Agile is just structured common sense. Still so many people struggle to get their success in Agile. What is going on? The point is Agile, with all its simplicity, is based on different paradigms and the old paradigms hinder. The question is, can you identify thew old paradigms and furthermore, how do you change them. Arie van Bennekum will take you in his talk on his 22 years Agile journey and share his experience, successes, his delta’s and IATM, the Integrated Agile Transformation Model he developed for Agile transformations. IATM is a successful Agile change process to (the next level of) Agile he and his teams use doing international Agile transformations.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.
