A couple of words on learner
autonomy
An autonomous learner?
Misunderstood 
Learner autonomy:
 learners study entirely on their own;
 a set of skills which can be learned and applied in self-
directed learning;
 an inborn capacity which is suppressed by institutional
education;
 the exercise of learners' responsibility for their own
learning;
 the right of learners to determine the direction of their
own learning.

Learner autonomy:  learners study entirely on their own;  a set of skills which can be learned and applied in self- directed learning;  an inborn capacity which is suppressed by institutional education;  the exercise of learners' responsibility for their own learning;  the right of learners to determine the direction of their own learning.   • 9. And, finally… What do I know about ___________? What have I learnt about __________? Am I interested in _________? How much/what else would I like to know? What is the absolute minimum that I need to know… (to pass the test / to come across as smart / to make my mum proud / …)?
