SUMMARY
Systems Engineer and Architecture Professional with expertise in the Department of Defense
modeling and simulation industry. Expertise resolving inter-team conflicts including operational
and technological challenges. Competencies in innovative solutions, providing vision, and
leadership to develop system solutions through coordinated team-based research of proven
technologies and operational concepts. Strengths include knowledge of military doctrine,
operational requirements decomposition, and documenting layered conceptual architectures.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CAE USA, Orlando, FL 2007 - 2015
Systems Engineer and Solutions Architect
Developed architecture solution concepts for contracts and win strategies for proposals with focus
on global mindset, forward looking innovation, and standards leadership for modeling and
simulation industry.
• Researched NATO Exercise Directives doctrine to align technology for a solution to modeling
global operational environments as the basis of the geo-specific situation module for NATO
Staff Headquarters exercises.
• Provided standards leadership to the Simulation Standards Organization (SISO) as the
Standards Activity Committee Chair to resolve group conflicts, improve effectiveness and
streamline development of SISO Standards.
• Researched, decomposed requirements, and coordinated team of team development efforts for
an national emergency management service oriented architecture solution for Mexico resulting
in a more effective solution set for Mexico’s national risk atlas, command & control, and
national alert/warning system.
• Innovated a Second Generation Software product line vision for common synthetic environment
providing a model based approach to decompose synthetic environment publishing
requirements for the full breadth of Army training and operational systems including simulators,
command & control systems and mobile devices.
• Developed global technological solutions and product road maps for CAE’s international
development teams and products enabling improved efficiency and cost savings.
• Facilitated a program of program integrated capability to transfer proven simulation
interoperability technologies developed under OneSAF to resolve technical readiness level 6
technology barriers leading to the LVC-IA acquisition.
ACUSOFT, Orlando, FL 1998 - 2008
Lead Engineer / Systems Architect
Performed as engineering lead and solution architect on programs and projects.
• Established the Joint After Action Review Resource Library (AAR-RL) for JFCOM through the
“Four Points of Integration” that included 8+ million lines of code from ten AAR systems
developed by the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps at the cost of developing 22
thousand lines of service oriented architecture (SOA) code.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (Acusoft) Continued
• Worked with the Simulation to Mission Command Interoperability (SIMCI) architects and co-
chairs to build a common understanding of the interdependencies between modeling &
simulation (M&S) technologies and mission command (MC) systems through a common shared
knowledge base between M&S and MC stakeholders.
• Drafted the Military Scenario Development Language (MSDL) specification for standardization
under the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO) by facilitating the needs
and contributions of international stakeholders, products, and program needs.
• Led Scenario Development Training Common Component (TCC) for Future Combat Systems
(FCS) enabling integration of all FCS TCCs through a common shared scenario representation.
• Served as scenario development and after action review lead engineer for One Simulated
Automated Forces (OneSAF) as a major driving force behind the successful development of
OneSAF and represented the interests of the OneSAF/PEOSTRI customer to Foreign Military
Sales customers, Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), and the National Simulation Center (NSC).
• Led team efforts for Aviation Interoperability BAA with Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) to
mature technical readiness to level six in preparation for the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical
Trainer (AVCATT) solicitation reducing risks and costs for the subsequent AVCATT solicitation.
