Project #1 – Restatements.
Restatements is fiscal year-end activity focused on providing the right information
about the sales details on Bookings and Revenue data stored in Datawarehouse. This
project involves complex logics to provide the right information to Reporting and Analysts
which helps in making Big decisions to drive the Business in large scale.
Project #2 – iExpense.
iExpense project involves ETL processing of the data about the expenses made by
various internal employees on various occasions of Business activities. This project involves
collecting data from various sources and implementing ETL process to store the data in EDW
area. The data stored is used for various analysis purpose to determine the expenses made
by the company for its employees. It further helps to analyse the expenses made on
different circumstances and helps the organization in better understanding of the needs and
measures to be made.
Project #3 – Gray Market Enhancements(GME).
GME is an interesting project that involves in providing the data to the Business
people to retrieve various information about the goods sold to various cust omers. It helps
the Business to identify information such as to whom the product was sold, when it was sold
and where the product should be now and with whom the product is now.
Project #4 – Bookings and Revenue.
As part of this project, the scheduling times of various jobs and the dependencies of
the jobs on other jobs in same area and different area is analyzed. Then it is tuned to
increase the performance and avoid unwanted delays in the jobs. This project made a
serious impact to the business which made the data availability sooner and also reduced the
unwanted delays and loads on the jobs. This project involves analyzing the complete flow of
data from Bookings to Revenue part.

4. Project #5 – CFA.
CFA is a very sensitive project which involved creating huge number of views, around
120 Business Views to provide the data to Analysts and Reporting persons to have
continuous access to restricted business data without having any impact such as load
caused by other EDW operations.
Project #6 – FMV.
FMV abbreviating to Fair Market Value helps to determine to which category revenue
data belongs to using a Flag Column. The revenue data stored in EDW is flagged either as
FMV or Non-FMV data based on the information available from source. This is an
enhancement project that helps the Analysts to distinguish between the types of Revenue
data.
