Design and Linear Static Analysis of Transport Aircraft Vertical Tail for Dif...IJSRD
The design of vertical tail structure varies according to nature of aircraft and its function. The experimental test of vertical tail structure is difficult and more expensive process. In this present work detailed design of transport aircraft vertical tail with rudder structure modelling done by using CATIA V5 R19 software. The static stress analysis is carried out to find the stresses at of the vertical tail with rudder structure for different deflection of rudder. The stresses are estimated to find the safety factor of the structure using finite element approach with the help of MSC/PATRAN and MSC/NASTRAN software. The material used in the vertical tail structure is aluminium 7075-T6, which has high fatigue strength. From the analysis it is found that maximum principal stress of vertical tail structure is less than yield strength of aluminium 7075-T6 alloy. The maximum principal stress value form analysis is used to find fatigue damage calculations for vertical tail structure. The obtained analytical result shows that safe no of fatigue life hours of vertical tail structure. The result is verified with reserve factor approach.

Electromagnetic Braking System using Ultrasonic SensorAI Publications
The concept of our paper is based on the automatic braking system. As we know that most time the accident takes place due to loss of control, drunk & drive and much more breaking reason.In our system there is a sensor that detects the speed of movement of the vehicle and an ultrasonic sensor, that sense the distance of the object in front of the vehicle. The sensor system will sense the speed of the vehicle or object in the front while the microcontroller calculates the distance required to stop the moving vehicle. The whole system is automatic and the braking application will take place without any manual input therefore it will decrease the rate of error hence the rate of road accidents.
This project and implementation is very useful for long journey vehicle and this setup
helps to raise vehicle by using battery or engine power. An automatic pneumatichydraulic jack comprises a mini air compressor and automatic hydraulic jack to serve
as an on-vehicle tool where as the power of the battery on the vehicle is used to drive
the mini air compressor which compresses air to serve as its primary force. The air
enters an entry channel from an air inlet nozzle and passes to an air chamber via a
changeover valve to push a small air-oil piston, thus converting air pressure into
hydraulic pressure on the other side of the piston which enters into a large hydraulic
cylinder via a check valve and pushes a large piston. The downward movement of the
small air-oil piston causes engagement with and turns the changeover valve, thus
connecting the air chamber channel to an exhaust channel and the entry channel to the
storage tank channel which enables the oil storage tank to supply the small hydraulic
cylinder with oil under pressure and make the small air-oil piston move upwards when
the small hydraulic cylinder is filled with oil, the small air-oil piston turns the
changeover valve to connect the air entry channel to the air chamber channel again,
thereby completing the cycle. Such reciprocation converts the air pressure into
hydraulic pressure to push the big piston which in turn, jacks up the vehicle. To lower
the vehicle, an oil return screw is turned to allow the oil to return to the oil storage tank
via a return channel

9. FRP : Fiber reinforced plastic also known as fibre reinforced
polymer. It is a composite material made of polymer matrix
reinforced with fibres. The fibres are usually glass, carbon, aramid
or Basalt.

10. ABS : Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
Three components from which ABS forms are Polybutadiene,
Styrene, Acrylonitrile.
ABS can be easily machined using Turning, Sawing, Die Cutting.
It is tough, hard and rigid and has good chemical resistance and
dimensional stability.
They also have good electrical properties that are fairly constant
over a wide range of frequencies.
ABS properties are little affected by temperature and atmospheric
humidity in the acceptable operating range of temperatures.
11. HPL : High Pressure laminating sheets is used in interior of a
Bus in both left and right lower side.
HPL is the direct descendent of the original plastic laminate.
It is considered to be one of the most durable decorative surface
materials and having properties including chemical, fire and wear
resistance.
Common thickness range is 2 mm through 4 mm.
12. VINYL FLOORING:
Vinyl is the covering over wooden floor inside the bus.
Vinyl sheet is pasted over complete interior wooden plywood
with the help of adhesive.
Two vinyl is pasted with the help of sealant joint.
Then upto 75°C we heat the vinyl sheet from above, so that it
pasted completely.

TCM.
JBM BUS is Manufactured as a Multiplex Electronic System, where
On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) is a major Benefit, which shows a
trouble code whenever their is an error in a Wiring harness or if
any Connection is missed.
The major Electrical Component used is Battery of 200 Ampere,
Starter motor which is mounted on Flywheel housing, and
Alternator which charge the battery.

insulating materials, used in the electrical system .
The thing which makes wiring harness function different is
Coupler.
Each wire is color coded to represent a specific electronic feature.
It provides one connection point for multiple wiring
configurations.
17. POWER CABLES
A power cable is an assembly of one or more electrical conductors
usually held together with an overall sheath.
The assembly is used for transmission of electrical power.
Different types of power cables are used in a Bus to connect
mechanical as well as electrical parts.
Power cables use stranded copper or aluminum conductors.
18. SHOWER TEST
This is the Second last stage of production process in which
we start the high pressure shower test is done.
By this we come to know, is their any leakage in bus from
outside.
Defect will be check and monitored by the PDI team.
All Internal, External & Upper side of a bus is checked so
that any leakage will be not be their.
19. PRE DISPATCH INSPECTION
Pre dispatch inspection is the last stage of Production, in which
quality engineers check each and every part which is fitted inside
and outside of bus.
Quality engineers make Checklist and accordingly, production
team verify that points.
Stickers, do’s and don’t’s tags and slips are pasted by PDI Team.
In this stage BUS is completed for dispatch to the customer.
