1. MENA Coverage Analysis by Country
□ 6 out of 11 Offices Experienced an Decrease in Coverage in February
-Cairo, Lahore and Algiers experienced the most noticeable decrease in coverage, 62.75%, 59.57% and 28.36% respectively
•The decrease in Cairo and Algiers was due to the instable political situation in the markets during the month of February
•Lahore’s decrease in coverage was due to lack of major events and announcements during the month of February
-Fourth and fifth place in terms of coverage decrease was SETK and Tehran, 15.28% and 11.24% respectively
•In both markets, the decrease was due to the lack of major events and announcements in the markets during the month
-Tunis and SELV rank first and second in terms of coverage increase, 50% and 15.4% respectively
•In Tunis, an increase was witnessed due to the “revival” of Tunisian media especially the online portals
•In SELV, several local and regional news releases were distributed covering all BUs except for CTV and IT
-Tel-Aviv, Jeddah and SEMRC experienced only a minute increase in coverage
