The 4IR by various industries and countries has been running around 2010. The 4IR has fundamentally changed the ways for human life and work. New technological advances that integrate physical world, digital and biological have influenced all disciplines, economics, industry and governments. In line, this also influences in maritime education and training schemes. The human resources needed has shifted from the potential basis to the competency based. Further, the formal education is not as primary source for preparing human resources, but the non-formal vocational education is more required by student to enhance their competency. Therefore, there is need to bridge between formal and non – formal education to enrich the student competency through the Recognition Prior Learning (RPL) scheme. The Recognition Prior Learning (RPL) for maritime vocational lecturers at the appropriate level of Indonesian National Qualifications Framework has been taken place. Yet, the implementation of Recognition Prior Learning (RPL) for the non-formal education to formal education or vice versa on maritime fields has not been conducted. This paper conveyed a conceptual model for the challenge of integration of formal and non-formal education through the Recognition Prior Learning (RPL) to provide human resources who have excellent competency and link -match with industry as well as prepared in facing the era of the 4IR. The integration model is developed through the content analysis and conceptual framework
Smart School Framework for Boarding School Based on Service System Engineering
The implementation of smart school concept is still fairly green in Indonesia. Not all schools at the urban level use it, especially in rural areas. In perspective of Boarding school like Merchant Marine of Polytechnic, there are so many shortcomings that need to be assessed and corrected. Inequality in the field of education is a problem that continues to develop even though Indonesian students are the largest technology users today. This research utilizes the existence of advanced technology and service system engineering that are currently being researched to build a framework for smart schools with limitation of boarding school. The framework built also accommodate Smart Education Framework and smart system development project (SSDP) in system. as the result, smart school framework will help to increase the value of education in Indonesia

The rapid increasing of utilizing level in advanced technology has provided many developments in various aspects of port activities. This development has forced Indonesia to participate in implementing smart systems in the form of smart ports. The implementation of the smart port technology has an impact on the emergence of new regulations affecting the users, regulators and stakeholders. In this research, we try to collect various kinds of information about smart port implementation in Indonesia and embrace it to be a paper. Information collected is based on questionnaires, articles and papers. This paper is supposed to explain smart port by Indonesia perspective, type of technology used in smart port, some study cases and comparisons with another country. In the end, this papers can be proposed as a new policy related to smart port for government

A Review of Harmonic Analysis Study of Electricity Power Quality
Every community uses the energy of electricity to run their lives as the population grows and increases. Therefore, it is expected that the high quality of the electricity system will support the phenomena. Harmonic disturbance problems occur due to the current and voltage waveform distortion as linear load contained in housing sucha as combination of linear load type such as incandescent lamp, electric iron, electric stove and for office load as non linear load such as computer, UPS, AC,etc. As the results from measurements on harmonics conducted in the Office of PT PLN branch Banda Aceh which consists of three electrical relay station such as substation representing office areas and substation representing residential areas and luxury housing, where measurements are performed using the FLUKE 43B Power Quality analyizer measurement equipment. The first measuring method of harmonics is performed on the tranformer side of the region representing the office of Kuta Alam to see the symptoms of harmonic heating on the transformer. The second measurement was done on the side of the transformer representing the housing of Villa Citra Lampineung substation. The data extracted from this measurement process are: VRMS , THD percentage (Total Harmonic Diostortion), IRMS, THDI Percentage (Current Total Harmonic Distortion), Power Factor (PF),. The results of analysis is known that the highest content of current distortion (THDi) on the transformer according to the consumer level of office area is located at the value of 17%, while for regular residential area the highest content of distortion In phase T with a value of 12.1% and for a residential area of luxury housing the highest harmonic content is found in phase T with a value of 67.9%. The load on the transformer that occurs in the consumer in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam can still be tolerated because it has not passed the capacity of the transformer. With this shows that the content of distortion on the load of simple and office is still under the standard of IEEE-std 159, which the maximum content of distortion less than 20% while the luxury residential area has passed Standard distortion and need to get attention from State Electricity Enterprise because it can cause harm to the consumer and the State Electricity Enterprise itself.

This document analyzes the cognitive levels of questions on the Seafarer Expertise Test (UKP) administered by Polytechnic Bumi Akpelni Semarang in Indonesia, using Bloom's taxonomy. The analysis of 100 multiple choice questions found that 51% tested remembering, 43% tested understanding, and 6% tested applying cognitive skills, all considered lower-order thinking skills. No questions tested higher-order thinking skills such as analyzing, evaluating or creating. This suggests the UKP focuses more on lower-order thinking than higher-order thinking. The researchers conclude the test should incorporate more higher-order thinking questions appropriate for the university level students taking the exam.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes of ship electrical courses in the Sorong Polytechnic Engineering Department. The method used was quasi-experimental. The population of this research was the cadets in the Department of engine as many as 72 cadets in Sorong Polytechnic, The number of samples as many as 48 cadets were obtained by random sampling technique. Data collection used tests. Analysis of the data used was the t test. The results of data analysis obtained a significant difference in the average gain value in the class treated by the Problem Based Learning model and in the class treated with the conventional method, where the experimental class was higher than the control class. So it can be concluded the learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model affects the learning outcomes of cadets in the ship's electrical lectures

his study aimed to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on motivation and learning outcomes of the Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong cadets. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with Pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study was 48 cadets of engine deparmet cadets of Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong.. The research sample was selected by double random sampling technique, one experimental class and one control class. Data collection used a questionnaire instrument to measure learning motivation and test instruments to measure learning outcome. The research data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The average score of motivation after learning was 104.5 (high category) and the average score of learning outcomes was 86.50 (very high category).The results of inferential analysis used the learning motivation t-test obtained t count value of 1.84 and the t-test results of learning outcomes t arithmetic 4.56. Both of these results indicate that t arithmetic> t table (t table 1.67). This means that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. It could be concluded that there was an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of engine deparment cadets of Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong
Ballast Calculation Techniques using Extrapolation
This document discusses techniques for calculating ballast water volume using sounding table extrapolation. It describes how duty officers currently use sounding tables and corrections to determine ballast water levels, but this can be inaccurate for over-trimmed vessels. The research aims to verify if extrapolating sounding table data using equations can more accurately calculate ballast tank capacities. The results showed that sounding table data can be converted to equations incorporating trim levels. Extrapolating this data using midpoint values produced errors of zero, providing an accurate method for determining ballast water volumes.

Maritime workers are workers who are regulated internationally through the Maritime LAbour Convention (MLC) 2006 which has been ratified by the Indonesian government through Law No. 15 of 2016. In the convention regulated aspects include health care on ships and on land, social security, welfare facilities on land, access to seafarers' complaints, protection of health and safety and accident prevention. This study aims to evaluate the application of the convention so far through the gap analysis method. Gap analysis is used to get the difference between the perceptions and expectations of the respondents. Indonesian sailors who are respondents have a variety of experience both from the type of ship, position and flag of the ship so that it is considered sufficient to fill in the questionnaire that has been prepared. There are gaps in several aspects evaluated as a result of the gap analysis. As a follow up, stakeholders can use the results of this study as a decision support tool in improving the application of MLC in Indonesia, especially for Indonesian seafarers
The Comparison Between Manual And Digital Transcription Media Towards KPN Stu...
The research aims to find KPN students’ grammatical mistake and compare its analysis result by using manual and digital transcription. This research emphasizes on analysing students’ grammatical mistake when they were doing a conversation practice in the classroom, and evaluating the effectiveness among those transcription media. The researchers employed qualitative research design in collecting the data through observation and students’ recording, and utilized “surface strategy taxonomy” to analyse it. Further, voice note as the digital transcription media is used in converting students’ voice into a direct text and the participant of this research was KPN students on the fifth semester. The findings revealed that the dominant students’ grammatical mistake by using both of transcription media was misformation. It was categorized by the use of wrong form of the morpheme which means one or more sentence’s aspect has a wrong formation. In conclusion, the voice note application assisted teacher in less time-consuming, even sometimes it did not optimally detect students’ utterances well. Therefore, teacher should encourage students to be more active in learning grammar, and this application is a recommended media in teaching and learning process.

Evaluating The Cognitive Level of Seafarers Expertise Test (UKP) Sheet By Usi...
This document analyzes the cognitive levels of questions on the Seafarer Expertise Test (UKP) administered by Polytechnic Bumi Akpelni Semarang in Indonesia, using Bloom's taxonomy. The analysis of 100 multiple choice questions found that 51% tested remembering, 43% tested understanding, and 6% tested applying cognitive skills, all considered lower-order thinking skills. No questions tested higher-order thinking skills such as analyzing, evaluating or creating. This suggests the UKP focuses more on lower-order thinking than higher-order thinking. The researchers conclude the test should incorporate more higher-order thinking questions appropriate for the university level students taking the exam.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes of ship electrical courses in the Sorong Polytechnic Engineering Department. The method used was quasi-experimental. The population of this research was the cadets in the Department of engine as many as 72 cadets in Sorong Polytechnic, The number of samples as many as 48 cadets were obtained by random sampling technique. Data collection used tests. Analysis of the data used was the t test. The results of data analysis obtained a significant difference in the average gain value in the class treated by the Problem Based Learning model and in the class treated with the conventional method, where the experimental class was higher than the control class. So it can be concluded the learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model affects the learning outcomes of cadets in the ship's electrical lectures

his study aimed to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on motivation and learning outcomes of the Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong cadets. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with Pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study was 48 cadets of engine deparmet cadets of Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong.. The research sample was selected by double random sampling technique, one experimental class and one control class. Data collection used a questionnaire instrument to measure learning motivation and test instruments to measure learning outcome. The research data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The average score of motivation after learning was 104.5 (high category) and the average score of learning outcomes was 86.50 (very high category).The results of inferential analysis used the learning motivation t-test obtained t count value of 1.84 and the t-test results of learning outcomes t arithmetic 4.56. Both of these results indicate that t arithmetic> t table (t table 1.67). This means that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. It could be concluded that there was an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of engine deparment cadets of Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong
Ballast Calculation Techniques using Extrapolation
This document discusses techniques for calculating ballast water volume using sounding table extrapolation. It describes how duty officers currently use sounding tables and corrections to determine ballast water levels, but this can be inaccurate for over-trimmed vessels. The research aims to verify if extrapolating sounding table data using equations can more accurately calculate ballast tank capacities. The results showed that sounding table data can be converted to equations incorporating trim levels. Extrapolating this data using midpoint values produced errors of zero, providing an accurate method for determining ballast water volumes.

Maritime workers are workers who are regulated internationally through the Maritime LAbour Convention (MLC) 2006 which has been ratified by the Indonesian government through Law No. 15 of 2016. In the convention regulated aspects include health care on ships and on land, social security, welfare facilities on land, access to seafarers' complaints, protection of health and safety and accident prevention. This study aims to evaluate the application of the convention so far through the gap analysis method. Gap analysis is used to get the difference between the perceptions and expectations of the respondents. Indonesian sailors who are respondents have a variety of experience both from the type of ship, position and flag of the ship so that it is considered sufficient to fill in the questionnaire that has been prepared. There are gaps in several aspects evaluated as a result of the gap analysis. As a follow up, stakeholders can use the results of this study as a decision support tool in improving the application of MLC in Indonesia, especially for Indonesian seafarers
The Comparison Between Manual And Digital Transcription Media Towards KPN Stu...
The research aims to find KPN students’ grammatical mistake and compare its analysis result by using manual and digital transcription. This research emphasizes on analysing students’ grammatical mistake when they were doing a conversation practice in the classroom, and evaluating the effectiveness among those transcription media. The researchers employed qualitative research design in collecting the data through observation and students’ recording, and utilized “surface strategy taxonomy” to analyse it. Further, voice note as the digital transcription media is used in converting students’ voice into a direct text and the participant of this research was KPN students on the fifth semester. The findings revealed that the dominant students’ grammatical mistake by using both of transcription media was misformation. It was categorized by the use of wrong form of the morpheme which means one or more sentence’s aspect has a wrong formation. In conclusion, the voice note application assisted teacher in less time-consuming, even sometimes it did not optimally detect students’ utterances well. Therefore, teacher should encourage students to be more active in learning grammar, and this application is a recommended media in teaching and learning process.

A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
