Jessica Lamb has a B.Sc. in Biology from UBC and a B.A. in Religious Studies and Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto. She has received several awards for her academic performance including the David Macaree Award and being named to the UBC Faculty of Science Dean's List. Her relevant coursework includes courses in cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, and anatomy. She has research experience in C. elegans and innate immunity. She has also developed teaching materials and tutored biology students. Her other experiences include medical transcription, healthcare administration, and volunteer work related to women's health and geriatric psychiatry.
