• Designed and executed a genomic research project, in accordance with the project of a current research
scientist in the lab, focused on uncovering the genetic basis for serrated polyposis in certain patients.
• The experiment was conducted over a 10-week period and predominantly utilized methods of primer
design, PCR, GC-rich PCR, PCR product purification, sequencing, and electropherogram analysis.

• Designed, proposed, and edited a novel experiment observing the effect of varied concentrations of
cyclopamine (Sonic Hedgehog gene inhibitor) on chick embryos
