The pieces ranged greatly in price from 5000 rupees up to very expensive couture-level costs. The collection featured elegant ivory pieces as well as bold colors and prints, with details like Swarovski crystals, applique work, chains, and studs. While perfect for high society and celebrities, the high prices may limit the average person from enjoying Satya Paul's incredible designs.
“The sari,” said Puneet Nanda in Tokyo, “is a most elegant and amazing garment.”
Literally it is not a garment at all, but a length of in a basic style dating from antiquity. Simple though the sari seems to be, its wrapping and folding incorporate intricacies and subtleties. With bracelets, anklets and necklaces, the sari is undyingly popular with Indian women in all circumstances and for all occasions

A fashion exhibition serves as a teaser for visitors to see hi-end designs from Satya Paul but does not display the full bridal line because serious customers want to carefully see, try on, and discuss the dress for their event, not just view it at an exhibition. The exhibition also provides feedback from prospective brides.
Puneet Nanda, the designer imbibed his creativity and design capability from his father, the
famous artist, Satya Paul. Commencing from the year 1982 to the year 2001. Puneet moved
from a gamut of design activities spanning photography, graphic design, textiles to finished
garments and choreography of International Fashion shows for world famous designers.
Adds Puneet Nanda, design director of Satya Paul, “We don’t put the very heavy bridal line on display because a serious customer would want to see the dress carefully, wear it and discuss the event. That’s not possible at an exhibition. This is more of a teaser for visitors. And also, we get a feedback from prospective brides themselves”.

Satya Paul’s ‘The Art of Tarot’ collection designed by multimedia artist Puneet Nanda, gives you
an opportunity to wrap yourself in a world of mysticism and magic. He brings forth the tarot
history by designing beautiful & intriguing pieces of art. He has indeed conceptualized the deck,
the collection, and shot the campaign for the collection. For him “Tarot is a vast and timeless
subject which deals with the whole of life. In keeping with the spirit to do things deeply and
passionately we have not only created the collection but a complete deck of cards for lovers of
tarot, for times to come”.
2. Sometime in the fifteenth century, in northern Italy, the first sets of tarot cards were created.
Centuries later, devotees of the occult arts in Europe encountered the tarot and saw mystical
and magical meaning in the symbolism of the cards. Since then it has fascinated soothsayers and
occultists and has been accepted universally.
Taking inspiration from the same, the collection is a mix of Indian and indo-western garments,
keeping in mind the sensibility of today’s woman!. Prints rule the collection, with each outfit
reflecting the cards in the most imaginative and beautiful fashion.
The fabrics for the collection have been woven to bring out the elegance and shine
effervescently to hint towards the multi-layered print and embroidered effects that have been
created. They are multi-media pieces of art in their own right. The colors of the collection are
taken from the cards themselves and run the gamut from soft muted tones to bright vivid ones.
There are metallic and matt effects created by modern techniques of fabric treatments. The
materials used range from the simple sequins to exotic stones and crystal sourced from around
the world. The surface textures with a closer eye would reveal just as the cards reveal numerous
hidden meanings.
The collection and the Tarot Deck itself will be available at the Satya Paul stores across India.
