This document discusses the privacy and safety issues associated with using social networking sites like Facebook. It notes that while Facebook and other sites allow users to adjust some privacy settings, users often share excessive personal details that can allow others to easily find and track them online. A simple search may reveal a user's name, photos, home address, phone number and more. Once information is posted, it cannot be fully erased and is retained by the social media companies. This level of oversharing and the ability to widely search personal information poses risks to users' online and offline privacy and safety.

keep you updated, and provides a
platform for people far away in distance
to stay connected
