5. There are three main types of personal computer.
1. Desktop computer
It can be used for personal or companies.
However, it can be used indoor only.
2. Laptop
A laptop computer or simply laptop, also
called a notebook computer, is a small
personal computer designed for portability.
3. Tablet PC
A tablet PC is a notebook or slate-shaped
mobile computer. Its touchscreen or graphics
tablet/screen hybrid technology allows the
user to operate the computer with a stylus or
digital pen, or a fingertip.

6.  Microsoft Windows
 The Windows family include Windows 95,
98, 2000, ME, and XP. Windows have
various software applications available for
Windows. Such as firewall, Internet
Explorer, MS Office, etc...
 Mac OS X
 Mac OS is a series of Unix-based operating
systems and graphical user interfaces. Mac OS
X has been included with all new Macintosh
computer systems.

It can be easily seen that most of the people have
their own personal computer. It is because
computers are becoming more and more
important. Some even think that computer is a
necessary in daily life. Computer can help them in
different ways, such as communicate with
others, for their job, etc. Also most of them think
that computer is very common in Hong
Kong, they think that having a computer is a
trend.

There are different ways for people to use
computer. People spend most of the time for
playing game or watching movie. Also they
spend lots of time for working. It shows that
people mainly use computer for relaxing or
working.
The average time they spend on computer around
5.72 hours(nearly 6 hours). It was quite a large
number for using computer. They spend about
one-third day on computer. It means that
computer is an important part of their daily live.
If computer is suddenly disappear, most of them
will think that life is boring.

15. According to our survey results,
Firstly, we know that personal computer is
popular in Hong Kong. Some of people even have
more than one computer. Therefore, we can say
that the universality of personal computer is high.
Secondly, there are lots of things that computer
can do and computer can make it more convenient.
Thus, computer become a part of our daily life and
it could not be substituted.
