13. Checklist before ISP week…
• Ensure you can login to your ePortal.
• Ensure that your account is active and
password is correct.
• Ensure you have Microsoft Office /
OpenOffice.org installed.
• Ensure that your Chinese Input has been
installed and configured properly.

Report to school at 8.00am in full-uniform
access to limited computing facilities on first-come-first-basis
in Computer Lab 4

You will be assigned a computer station.
After use, report to the teacher in the lab and

Students can login to the ePortal at the school website: http://www.damaisec.moe.edu.sg
Alternatively, students can also login to the ePortal from ASKnLearn website: http://damaisec.asknlearn.com
Sample of the Learning Schedule Students must recognize the subject code in the Learning Schedule. Students must recognize the abbreviations in the Learning Schedule: CW = Courseware OA = Quiz WS = Worksheets Based on the information in the Learning Schedule, students should know what subject they should be studying at a particular time and what materials/activities and homework they are expected to do/submit at the end of the day.
For students who do not have Microsoft Office installed in their home computers, they have the option to download and install OpenOffice.org or use the Google Docs from the ePortal to open/read/edit the files given to them by their teachers. Software MUST be installed during June holidays and NOT on the day of eLearning.
Students MUST save their files in Microsoft Office compatible format before submitting their work to their teachers. Students will not get any grade should the teacher fail to open their files.

Chinese students MUST know how to activate their computer ’s Input Manager to be able to enter Chinese Characters. It is the students ’ responsibility to ensure that Chinese Support has been installed and configured in their home computer in June and not on the day of the eLearning Week.
