2. Why do we need a new standard
 Current standard dates from 2005
 Every 5 years a systematic review takes place
 2010 “An IT standard that does not change in 5 years is uncommon”
 Inventory of possible changes > Changelist
 On september 17, 2015 the standard was reaffirmed for 5 years
 Now the changes will go through the PAS procedure

3. PAS procedure
 Current standard was introduced via PAS procedure
 Change procedure is the same as the original introduction
 We can change more than the items in the change list
 As long as we obey the ISO/IEC directives for a standard document
